Disney is one of the greatest names, not just in animation but also the global leader in entertainment. I'm a superfan of this greatest and most impactful studio in the world. There are lots of Disney fans whenever you watch movies or at theme parks. When it comes to Disney adults specifically, that might be the difference between someone who occasionally watches Disney movies and others who visit Disney theme parks multiple times per month. But that doesn't mean you have to buy tons of merchandise or visit every Disney park to be one. No way!It bothers and frustrates me when people say, 'I'm not a true Disney adult or D23 member because I just got into Disney,' or 'I haven't visited a theme park.' That's not what being a Disney superfans is about. If you love Disney, it doesn't matter what part of Disney you love, even since I was born in 2000s I know nothing about Disney until now. They think I don't have real jobs at Disney company, real bills, and real lives.I used to get upset and frustrated, but now it's like, they just don't know and I feel sorry for them. I wish they were here on my level of happiness and joy. I found criticism about me was so hurtful. Disney adults or D23 members are loving, caring, and friendly.That's what's so crazy about the bad reputation that I'm aware of in my daily life. It's such a loving community, and I'm a D23 Gold Member. I'm not ashamed of it! Social media has helped the adult side of the fandom grow in ways that many never expected. Instagram and Youtube have helped me as Disney fans feel more confident in expressing their love for Disney. One of my bucket list dreams was fulfilled this past weekend thanks to my amazing boyfriend π₯Ήπ we took a tour of The Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, and it was better than I could have imagined! We got to see Waltβs office which has been carefully restored and maintained by the Walt Disney Archives, walk the animation building where Disneyβs Nine Old Men created some of our favorite animated classics, and saw the Legends Courtyard with handprints of Disney royalty. β¨ Trip Recap Day 11 (March 12th) β¨ This was our last day :( We ate breakfast in the room while we finished packing. After bell services grabbed our luggage, we headed to Magic Kingdom! We once again watched Festival of Fantasy, but this time from the top of the train station! We were going to ride the railroad around, BUT it was a 40-minute waitβ¦hello spring break crowds. We ended up grabbing corn dogs from Sleepy Hollow and hopped right onto the Liberty Belle Riverboat. This was something we hadnβt done in a reallyyyyy long time. It gave some unique perspectives of the park and I canβt wait to share my photos from our ride. We got off the boat just in time to catch Mickeyβs Royal Friendship Faire. I love this show, but I wish you didnβt bake like a potato, in the sun the entire time π₯΅ After that, we grabbed some frozen drinks and milkshakes. The crowds were really crazy, and we didnβt have a lot of time before we had to leave. We took our cold snacks and slowly strolled out of the park. We stopped for plenty of photopass pictures and said see ya real soon to the parks π° π We caught the bus back to Old Key West, grabbed some burgers and explored the hotel a little. Mears Connect picked us up, and took us to MCO. Trip Recap Day 10 (March 11th) β¨ Today was another DAK day, and our goals were to see as many animals as we could, and visit a performer friend at Festival of the Lion King! We started by taking the Wildlife Express Train to Rafikiβs Planet Watch. We spent a lot of time hanging out with all the animals, before heading over to Gorilla Falls. We decided to ride the safari again in hopes of seeing more animals, and boy did we see them. Iβve never been so close to these animals before, and our truck had to stop multiple times throughout our journey because of the high volume of animal activity. After that, we headed to the Festival of the Lion King to visit my favorite Pridelands animal! Itβs one of my favorite shows on property, and not just because I have a friend who performs in it π After the show, my parents got to come backstage with me to meet him and the cast of FoLK. After visiting our favorite leopard, we grabbed food at Satuβli Canteen because the wait at the Nomad Lounge was too long π After that, we hit the Mahajarah Jungle Trek. We checked everything off our to-do list and headed back to the hotel to recharge and pack since we had to check out the next morning and had a late night of Epcot deluxe hours coming up. We headed to Epcot and started by riding Spaceship Earth π After that, I sat with Walt to watch Luminous before riding the Gran Fiesta Tour. We finished finding all the topiaries once the fireworks crowds left. We thought weβd accomplish a lot during deluxe hours, but the wait times were WAY up there. We only had time for ONE ride. My parents went to ride Soarinβ. I decided to better explore Dreamerβs Point while I waited for my friend to get off work. I met up with my Epcot Parking Queen who had a Festival of the Arts popcorn bucket awaiting my arrival πΈπ» π While we were catching up we ran into The Duck Couple, who gave us some tiny sparkly, and glow in the dark ducks! It was a day filled with friends and it was truly magical β¨

β¨ Trip Recap Day 9 (March 10th) β¨ We had a lot of different activities on todayβs schedule!! The morning started with my dad heading over to Yacht Club for his guided bass fishing excursion. I headed over to Coronado Springs to check in and pick up our gifts for the D23 event we were attending later that night. My mom stayed at Old Key West and headed to the pool. After I picked up our credentials and merch at Coronado, I headed to Yacht Club to surprise my dad and take some pictures of him fishing. After that, we walked to Beach Club to get something different for a late lunch. Upon walking up to Beach Club, we were immediately greeted by a character caravan!! It was very empty, so we got to spend a lot of time with each character. Daisy and I had a lil photoshoot. Once she met the couple of other families, we had yet another photo shoot πΈ I, of course, also had a photo shoot with the munks, before hanging out and having a great time πΏοΈ Dale and I practiced our tango, I think we are ready for the next season of Dancing with the Stars ππ» Chip decided to play a game of βI got your noseβ with my Pooh nuimo π I told him that I would take his nose if he didnβt give Poohβs back. That turned into a small friendly game of tag (with us covering our noses) We called a truce, and Chip carefully gave Pooh his nose back π My dad and I grabbed lunch then headed back to Old Key West. By this point, my mom got out of the pool and the three of us headed to Disney Springs. We attended the D23 15th Anniversary Celebration at Splitsville. We got to bowl, play games, and have unlimited Everglazed donuts all included in the cost of the event. We had a great time. After that, we headed to Gideonβs and snagged plenty of cookies to take home and freeze for later. We had just enough time to get to World of Disney and do all of our shopping before they closed for the night. A no park day, but a super fun and eventful day!

β¨ Trip Recap Day 8 (March 9th) β¨ We started our day off with our first trip to the Disney Character Warehouse! I had a blasttt. Who doesnβt love shopping for great deals? After that, we headed to Animal Kingdom. Our mission for the day was Dinoland and to just experience this park at night. We started by meeting the cutest chipmunks ever π We even had a lil dino-munk photoshoot πΈ After that, we grabbed a Sβmoreosaurus shake from Restaurantasaurus before heading to Dinosaur π¦ We played some carnival games and won some ADORABLE dinos. They were too cute to pass up! We rode Triceratop Spin and then watched Finding Nemo the Big Blue and Beyond π‘ After that, we caught the last safari of the night. We unfortunately didnβt see any giraffes BUT we did see the lion and lioness, walking around π¦ I reluctantly agreed to say goodbyeβ¦orrrr good riddance to Itβs Tough to Bug. Let me just say I canβt WAIT for it to be returned to Zooptopia. This is a monstrosity, and I absolutely love A Bugβs Life. But this show scares childrenβ¦itβs giving Alien Encounter (no, Iβve never actually done Alien Encounter, yesΒ Iβm being dramatic, just let it happen) π After that we watched the Tree of Life Awakenings from under the tree which was fun and unique. The park was open until 8pm, so we wandered around and soaked in nighttime Animal Kingdom, something we donβt typically get to do! We at the last minute grabbed a reservation at Yak and Yeti for dinner. It was the last reservation of the night. We not only got to see the park at night, but entirely empty. We were the last ones out of the park and even got a private bus back to our resort. It was amazing to see DAK at night. It was our only chance as we had to spring our clocks forward tonight! β¨ Trip Recap Day 7 (March 8th) β¨ Our first morning at Old Key West, I woke up early and started stacking our rides for the day on Genie+. After getting to Studios, we met Olaf and exchanged warm hugs. We grabbed some snacks and drinks from both Baseline Taphouse and ABC Commissary, so I could sit down and book another ride. I had an ultimate goal of stacking rides ever so perfectly to line up with our dinner reservation and boy did I accomplish some Genie magic π§ββοΈ We headed to Mickey and Minnieβs Runaway Railway to use our first lightning lane of the day β‘οΈ After that, we had about an hour until our next 3, back to back to back, lightning lanes. We headed to Pixar Place to meet some of our favorite Pixar Pals. We started with Frozone, then Sulley, Mr. and Mrs. Incredible, and the one and only Edna Mode. We headed over to our upcoming lightning lanes. I successfully stacked Toy Story Mania, Alien Swirling Saucers, and Slinky Dog Dash to all be between 3:30 and 4:50pm, perfectly coinciding with our 4:55pm reservation at Roundup Rodeo BBQ π€ We hit all those rides and then sat down for dinner. We enjoyed both our meal and experience! I definitely didnβt put our leftover biscuits in my popcorn bucket to save for later π After that, we took our time as we headed to our next lightning lane, Tower of Terror. I decided that I wanted to get a Minnie Sink Sundae instead of riding ToT. I sat down and ate my ice cream until my parents met me for both projection shows on the Chinese Theater. We had no problem walking up at the last minute and having a good spot as everyone was told to remain seated for the duration, unlike Magic Kingdom fireworks. By the time those shows were finished, the first Fantasmic was letting out. We decided to skip our Smugglerβs Run lightning lane because we didnβt want to run across the park just to run all the way back for the 2nd showing of Fantasmic. We strolled over to the Hollywood Hills Amphitheater and found ourselves a great seat for Fantasmic.
β¨ Trip Recap Day 6 (March 7th) β¨ This was our last morning waking up at the Riviera π After checking out, we took the Skyliner over to Epcot. We had a handful of must-doβs today, and we checked them off early. We kicked off the day by meeting my favorite purple dragon, Figment π We couldnβt leave that area without first, making a new core memory with Joy. Next on our to-do list, Mickey and Minnie in their 100th anniversary outfits. I wasnβt sure when these outfits would be going away, and Iβm thankful they were/are still around after the 100th anniversary. After that, I did A LOT of shopping. There was lots of Flower and Garden merch, restocks on hard to get Figment items, AND leftover Festival of the Arts merch to buy. After that, we grabbed lunch at Sunshine Seasons and rode the best two rides in the park, Living with the Land, and Journey Into Imagination with Figment. We made a stop to see who was meeting in the Visa meet and greet. We saw Goofy, visited Butterfly Landing, and went on yet another topiary hunt before sitting down to dinner at Connections. After that, we rode Mission Space. The whole pre-show room was empty except for us. We visited Walt the Dreamer for the first time π We then headed to learn more about the Journey of Water. From there, my dad headed to his Guardians VQ while my mom and I headed under the sea to see Nemo and all his real life aquarium friends. After that, we grabbed some festival treats and found an in park spot to watch Lumionous. β¨ Trip Recap Day 5 (March 6th) β¨ Today we started our day with breakfast at Topolinoβs Terrace!! I was super excited to have finally booked this dining experience, especially since we were staying at the Riviera. We are not morning/rope drop people, so breakfast needs to be close by. Because of where our room was, it took about a whole 10 seconds to get to Topolinoβs π After breakfast, the plan was to go to the pool, which my parents did. I, on th other hand, headed over to Magic Kingdom on a mission just to visit Peter Pan. We talked for what felt like forever about him learning manners, and who is the fastest flier! I agreed to keep an eye out for pirates π After that, I decided to take a trip up to the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse before heading back to the hotel to meet my parents. We packed up most of our stuff as our time at the Riviera was coming to an end. Then, we headed to Magic Kingdom for some fireworks and deluxe hours. Wait times were very short, and we were able to get a lot done in a few short hours. We started the night with Storybook Circus. After that, we put the pedal to the metal at the Indy Speedway before camping out a spot for Happily Ever After π We enjoyed the fireworks and headed to Adventureland and Frontierland π€ As deluxe hours started, our Tron VQ was called. I got scared and let my parents go without meβ¦my dad loved itβ¦my mom, not so much π¬ She said she was glad I didnβt ride it, and that she would rather ride Guardians over Tron, which we unpopular-ly do not like. I wandered Tomorrowland to take nighttime pictures. Deluxe hours were passing fast as it took my parents an hour to ride Tron. Afterward, we met up to do as much as we could before the night ended. We rode Buzz Lightyearβs Space Ranger Spin, and Journey of the Little Mermaid. Then we visited the Hatbox Ghost at The Haunted Mansion for the first time π» After that, we had time for one more ride. Mine Train had a 5 minute wait and we couldnβt pass that up!
β¨ Trip Recap Day 4 (March 5th) β¨ Today the plan was Hollywood Studios. With there not being a lot of rides, we said we would focus on shows and with the intention of buying Genie+ on our next DHS day if we felt we needed it to get on rides. NGL, we slayed the schedule today. We did EVERY show in the park (except for the rain severely delaying Fantasmic). The timing was truly perfect, there was the perfect amount of time in between shows to head to the next one and get a good seat. We started with Vacation Fun, then hopped over to Indiana Jones. I canβt even remember the last time I saw Indy. Itβs easily been at least 5 years. From there we headed to Muppet Vision 3D (please tell me you read that in Kermitβs voice) π I absolutely couldnβt leave Muppets Courtyard without grabbing some Rat Pizza, so we stopped at Pizzerizzo for lunch π After that, high tailed it across the park to the next Beauty and the Beast show, then made a pit stop to learn how to race from the one and only Lightning McQueen! The timing continued to work in our favor, as we caught the last Frozen Sing Along for the day. We decided, instead of getting soaked in the incoming storm, it was the perfect time to head to the Yacht and Beach Club to see their Easter Eggs displays. We started with the display at Yacht, then walked over to the display at Beach, and obviously stopped for the crazy St. Patrickβs Day milkshake at Beaches and Cream. Yes, it dyed my mouth green and black π From there we Uberβed back to the Riviera in the torrential rain and lightning. β¨ Trip Recap Day 3 (March 4th) β¨ We woke up at The Riv today, which was so exciting! Weβve never stayed here or any Skyliner resort before. Our view was incredible. We could see the Tower of Terror and Expedition Everest from our balcony. I grabbed the infamous Banana Bread from Le Petit Cafe for breakfast before hopping on the Skyliner to Epcot. Our plan was to do as much as we could in World Showcase, since it obviously made sense to start there. We started in France with the Beauty and the Beast Sing Along. After that, we hunted for topiaries and thoroughly explored the bulk of the countries. Along the way, we stopped at Regal Eagle π¦ (my fav quick service) We continued exploring the countries, stopping in China to eat a quick dinner. While we were there, we saw Reflections of China, and walked through the βInside Shanghai Disney Resort.β Made me want to see all the Disney parks worldwide, more than I already do! Somewhere along the way, I was mistaken for a photo pass photographer. In the womanβs defense, I was wearing green and had a photopass-esque camera π At this point it was late, and we were tired. We decided to skip Luminous and see it later in the trip. We quickly strolled through the remaining countries on our way back to the Skyliner. After getting cozied up in the hotel room, we heard fireworks. β¨ Trip Recap Day 2 (March 3rd) β¨ After just one night, we checked out of All Star Sports. Since last night was a last minute add on, our planned split stay was extended from 2 hotels to 3! We grabbed breakfast at the food court and hopped on a bus to the Magic Kingdom, because what other park would you want to start in? We kicked off our trip by riding the Peoplemoverβ¦not once, not twice, but three times. Such a relaxing way to start π With having a long trip we really wanted to take our time, so we meandered past Mickeyβs Royal Friendship Faire on our way to grab lunch at Pecos Bill. We found a perfect spot for Festival of Fantasy, which stepped off early due to the incoming rain. We were going to head to Thunder Mt. but it was temporarily down, so we headed to Pirates. By the time we got off, it was monsooning, so we grabbed some beignets and set up camp back at Pecos Bill until the rain let up a little π§οΈ From there we headed to Fantasyland so we could run in and out of rides without getting soaked. The rain finally let up, and we decided to check out the Easter Eggs displays because they had JUST opened that morning. We went to Grand Flo first, checked out the eggs and grabbed some snacks from The Grand Cottage. After that, we headed over to the Contemporary. We watched Happily Ever After (duh) from the 4th floor, grabbed some dinner at Contempo CafΓ©, then checked out the Easter Egg displays in the lobby. Our flight was around 7:30pm so no parks for the day. Last but not least, the most Grand display of all π The Grand Floridianβs display was the most popular among the four. This was the largest display π₯π« It included 360Β° views of the eggs and a wonderful artist who was painting the final egg π£π° Once again, each egg was unique and showcased each chocolatierβs creativity. Iβm so lucky that Lee had the absolute patience to wait for over 7 hours in the last two days of ticket releases, tears, tantrums and countless system crashes and we finally got there.
