The 2012 Dalwhinnie Moonambel Shiraz. The nose is expressive - cherries, plums, licorice and spices shine. The palate is magnificent - raspberries, strawberries and redcurrants well concentrated and in line with the oak and acidity. The finish continues the red fruit theme - good length and fruit quality through. Not overly complex and I prefer a bit more gravitas but definitely a well made wine.
