Hey everyone, some changes are happening regarding the shop ! After 7 years working in this beautiful space, it’s time to move on. We’re going to build a small studio in our house , completely separated from the living space. So it is going to be a professional tattoo studio, but better fitting for 1 , as I didn’t want to take on new artists working with me. We have lived above the studio for years before we bought a house , and I have really missed the convenience of being close to my workplace lately. If everything goes as planned, building the studio will take a month (April) and hopefully we can move in the beginning of May. Since I’m not doing anything in the construction myself, I will work as usual and don’t have to move any tattoo appointments in this time 😎 The old location will be for rent again, it’s a great location for a souvenir shop, barber, beautysalon, etc .. Some realistic works I did. As much as I love color work, the European ban of the old inks in 2021 is making it more difficult to work in color. Sometimes it goes well, but sadly I can’t get the same results as before anymore. It’s kind of unpredictable how well the skin takes the ink during tattooing and how it will hold up after years. This makes it pretty frustrating for me, it takes longer to get it in and is more probable to need a second pass after healing . Hence I would love to shift slowly towards more black and grey work, still newschool because I love that style , and also hoping to take on more realism (dogs (yes please!) other animals, flowers, skulls, etc, no personal portraits). Don’t worry my color loving clients , I won’t completely stop doing colors all of a sudden! See ‘Realism’ in highlights for portfolio.
