Now he has a big family of his own, married to his wife Carleen, and blessed with three children, Auggie (5), Bally (3), and Della (1). “As much as I joke about it, I enjoy the mayhem that comes with it,” he candidly comments. With practices, sports activities, and playdates, there is always something on the calendar for this dedicated dad of three and loving husband. Not to mention a pet parent to two Goldendoodles. Originally from Chestertown, Maryland on the eastern shore, Chris’ wife Carleen grew up in Annapolis. “We met after college graduation,” he says. Chris is the Branch Sales Manager and Senior Loan Officer at First Home Mortgage. Carleen is a marketing manager for a data distributor. In 2018, Chris and Carleen had their first child, Auggie, followed by two more, Bally and Della. Now it’s all about family time for this family of five. They have active days full of youth sports, summer fun at the pool, and simply hanging out together. The Edge family also likes to spend time on the water fishing and boating. He and his family also like to play card games together, sit out and enjoy their backyard, and ride bikes through the neighborhood. Chris and Carleen are living their best lives here in the neighborhood. They have a vibrant life with their three little ones, watching them grow up and savoring time with each of them. They lead the ECNL RL Northeast 2010 Boys - South Division, sporting a 9-1 record, and will make a strong push for the playoffs in June. In addition to their stellar league play, the boys have taken first place in their brackets in the 2023 Maryland United FC Annapolis Cup last August and The Nation's Capital Cup in Virginia last November. Three Davidsonville boys, Aidan Hu, Luca Barilaro, and Soren Kligge feature together on the team for the third year in a row. Soren and Luca have been playing soccer together since 2016 for Davidsonville county soccer. Aidan joined them on the Davidsonville team in 2020, before the three joined Maryland United together in 2021. Bob Thomas is the coach of the team.
