🏆 Destination Dance 2024 International Finals 🏆 Another weekend, another dance comp. That’s the way it is when comp season is in full swing. But when the comp is literally the biggest we’ve ever experienced, it takes things up a notch or two. Nearly 1000 dances and over 3000 spectators over 2 days!! @destinationdancecompetition International Finals know how to rock it! Barbie brought home 3rd place in their category. And when we consider there are over 40 kids in this one routine and they are as young as 5 years old! And they scooped 3rd place….wow! @kellyshirleyschoolofdance will always break the mould by including their youngest dancers in routines against much older children. EDA advanced dancer, Elouise Church, has been selected from hundreds of top level dancers across the country for the Destination Dance International Finals in Coventry this weekend. @destinationdancecompetition EDA entered the Destination Dance competition back in January in Poole. The performance squad dancers placed 1st and 2nd with the group routines and amazing results with solos, as well as exciting dance battles. Elouise’s Jazz solo was entered into the advanced jazz category and placed 2nd out of 15 immensely talented dancers. Due to her high score (platinum (85+), she was presented as a DD ‘Dance Idol’ and invited to perform in the UK Finals. This top competition sets the bar so high, with impressive dancers and mind blowing routines, Elouise took it all in her stride. I was again amazed by her performance, every time we are in the DD atmosphere it boosts dancers to take their best up another notch. Elouise was shining ✨scoring another 85+ score (platinum level) which was so well deserved!! Elouise’s dedication to dance has developed her progress hugely this year.
