C'était ce week-end à Arue! Les championnats individuels étaient organisés par le club Maoti. 🙏🏽 Nos To'a Hine ont bravé le vent et la houle du côté de Papeno'o le 1er jour et ont résisté jusqu'à la fin! 👊🏽 Le 2ème jour s'est déroulé dans des conditions idéales du côté de Arue et tout le monde est revenu à terre sain et sauf! La chasse sous-marine est souvent associée à une pratique plutôt masculine et peu de femmes participent à des compétitions. Cependant les temps changent et il y avait 6 femmes dans l'eau, 1 à la sécurité et 1 en capitaine pour un pêcheur masculin. 🧜♀️ Il y avait Onyx et Taina (comme d'habitude depuis ces 10 dernières années 🥵) mais aussi Louise Lamotte, qui s'essaye à ce sport en compétition pour la première fois. Cette discipline demande une préparation physique intense puisqu'il faut tenir 2 fois 6 heures sur 2 jours avec déplacement à la nage uniquement dans une zone couvrant 6 km!!! 💪🏾 3 compétitrices ont donc relevé le défi de ramener un maximum de prises en respectant le poids imposé pour chaque espèce au même titre que la catégorie masculine. 🐟🐟🐟 > 1ère place des 2 journées: Onyx Le Bihan avec 10 prises au total.🏆👏🏾 > 2ème: Taina Orth avec 6 prises > 3ème: Louise Lamotte avec 3 prises. 👏🏾✌🏾👍🏽🥳 Il restera 4 journées de compétition. Un grand merci à Maoti pour l'organisation de la compétition et mauruuru roa à la commune de Arue pour les lots et le soutien logistique! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 Nous n'oublions pas nos capitaines Jimmy Tetuanui, Trevor Orth et Manu Hunter sans qui rien ne serait possible.
