Removed from its theatre context, the movement material is examined for its potential of infinite repetition and variation, which develops its power in a durational installation performance. Certain sections are cut and recombined, as if zooming in or like miniatures, in such a way that each element can speak for itself in a field of tension between protagonist and chorus, landscape and inhabitants, movement and its voice, infinitely repeating like everything in our universe. - old to new - This is a little clip from the act I was talking about in my last post . It was 3 years ago, at the @diewiesenburg.berlin festival. Sadly not with the original Musik. My musicians stayed in French Brittany so I had to improvise on that note (sorry for the pun). I love performing this act and I only have done that for around 8 times. It was my graduation piece, but looking back now there are so many things I would change today, so I decided to give it a fresh coat of paint and a new life.
