Yesterday, we had an impromptu sleepover with 4 of Daslyn’s friends. Which meant I had 1 teen (Dawson) 5 almost teens, and 1 wanna be teen (Delana) in my house. Before everyone arrived I started the diffusers. I wanted something that was going to help keep them calm. Because I know how almost teen girls can get lol. I initially reached for Peace & Calming because I love it so much. But, to my surprise, the Peace & Calming spot on my oil shelf was empty. An aromatherapy blend like this one can work to ease physical symptoms, like headaches, while it soothes an overactive mind and frayed emotions, and calms the nervous system so we can accomplish what we need to during the day and have a good night's sleep. The four essential oils in this blend: Lavender: calming, balancing, can relieve menstrual cramps, PMS symptoms, helps with sleep, can relieve headaches, migraines, stress and anxiety. Patchouli: relieves menstrual cramps, edema/fluid retention, is grounding and centering, good for mood swings, anxiety, and a sense of overwhelm. Clary Sage: calming, balancing, good for relieving anxiety, PMS symptoms, menstrual cramps, is a sedative, helps with sleep. Cardamom: Pain relieving (good for menstrual cramps), calming, balancing, helps when stressed-out or fatigued.
