Look, life is busy. It always will be. There’s most likely never going to be a time when it’s not. Especially as a parent! But here’s the real issue- you’ve put your health and maybe even your faith on the back-burner far too long because you’re too busy putting other’s needs before your own. You’re awesome and that’s just what you do. But you have a breaking point. We all do. You can’t keep doing this. You’re trying to serve others but you’re at a point where you need to put yourself back into focus. But you don’t want to feel selfish. I get it. But you’re not selfish for doing this. Because here’s the thing, when you finally take care of yourself, you can actually serve others in a deeper, more energetic and fulfilling way. More than just the 30, 40, or 50% you’re giving them now. Things are never going to slow down and the time will never be just right. If you keep waiting for work, school, sports, lessons, recitals, meetings, etc., to slow down, they won’t. And if they do, there will only be more, and something else will come up instead.
