For "Finding Nemo" day of #ToInfinityAnd28 from @greenunicornpoop, here's a Magic Shot from last May's Flower & Garden festival at EPCOT, when we bounded as Marlin & Mr. Ray. I do apologize for having no marine life fun facts this morning, I'm in a bit of a rush as it's the monthly Solensia day for the cat & I need to make sure she doesn't figure it out and hide before I have to shove her into the carrier. 🙈 Side note though, this treatment is making an incredible, miracle-like difference for her, so if you have a senior cat (or dog, there's a dog version) with arthritis or joint issues, please please speak to your vet. It's not cheap, unfortunately. But the quality of life improvement is flabbergasting. 🐠🐟🐚🐟🐠 We ordered pizza from a new place last night and mine came with gorgonzola on it, which I didn’t realize until I bit into it... and almost threw up. If I think about it, I can still taste it. For real. 🤢 Anyway, I scraped it all off and then the pizza was fine, I guess. 🙃 But holy cheeseballs, that was offensive. Throwing it back to October 2018 for "Monsters, Inc" day of #ToInfinityAnd28 by @greenunicornpoop 💚💜 This outfit was for #MickeysNotSoScaryHalloweenParty, and HusBeast wore his Mike Wazowski eyeball t-shirt (you've probably seen it before if you've been here a while, but you'll see it again in a future post!). I've got a pile of parks throwback pics coming up this month; photos I've never posted (with one exception) though I've shared others in the outfits. When we go to the parks, we always get Photopass (the above isn't a Photopass pic tho) and take as many photos as humanly possible, not only to get full value but also because you never know how the shots will turn out with lighting, posing, etc. And then I end up only sharing like 2-5 photos. 😆 But I often scroll through those old photos for fun... I enjoy reliving the memories just for myself. 🥰 💜💚💜💚💜 How often do you look through old photos? Part of me misses the days of pulling physical photo albums off the shelf and paging through them, but I was never great at actually putting the albums together... also they take up tons of space. Day 30: "Direct-to-Video Releases" ...which I guess would just be called "streaming" these days, eh? 😅 Believe it or not, this was the prompt that stumped me the most, despite there having been a gajillion DTV movies during my childhood and youth. Day 29: "Magical Characters" Did I kinda phone it in for this one? Yes. Yes I did. Did I forget that I was at least going to wear a mask to add another element and then didn't bother to reshoot? Also yes. Listen, we're in the final few days and a post is a post, imo. 🤣 Also, I just love this sweatshirt from @heruniverse! What I love less is that Moon Knight hasn't gotten a second season. That show was wild and at times mildly unhinged and I LOVED IT. The moment when the little girl asks Layla if she's an Egyptian superhero was one of the singlemost impactful scenes in the MCU, in my opinion. 🔮🪄🌙🪄🔮 It's a long weekend! Day 28: "Disney Cats" I don't have any paints so my Gelatoni is holding colored pencils. 😆 I've had a lot of chats in comment sections about the Duffy & Friends characters this week! Not having them in the North American parks has really put a damper on my ability to get "into" them and connect with the characters. Day 27: "Disney Characters from the 80s" Some of you may remember the video clips I posted a few months ago from a dance performance at Glitter (the monthly show I often perform in) where I was dressed as the Evil Queen and then Maleficent. There was a third villain in that piece! My final transformation was to Ursula, in this outfit. Maybe I'll share that final clip someday 🤷♀️ The bodysuit came from @twistedmovement and it was my first time dying something with Rit dye! The black lines reminded me of tentacles so I dyed it from white to purple. The crown came as part of a cheap set with the necklace, but it was dull and had a comb on the back. I cut off the comb, glued it to a headband, and used 2 types of thin foam traced & glued onto it for some shine. Curious friends who saw the other clips might be wondering which modern song I chose for Ursula in that dance piece... it was Billie Eilish's "You Should See Me in a Crown." 😆 💜🖤🐙🖤💜 Did you know the world's smallest octopus weighs less than a gram, is only about a centimeter long, and lives for only about six months?!?! 🥺 Even the world's biggest species only live 3-5 years and their cells basically self-destruct after their eggs hatch, because they starve themselves while obsessively standing guard over the brood (for females... the males just wander off and perish not long after mating). If they lived longer, I bet they'd have even more incredibly complex language, social systems, technology... What a strange place this world is. Disneybound Challenge: Disney Parks Characters! Throwback pictures from my second trip to Disney, where I did a sorcerer Mickey bound! Mickey’s reaction, especially to the ears, was everything I could’ve hoped for. Wish I was standing in line to meet Mickey today instead of being way too far away. We have to finish the race..." ...which is possibly how a lot of us are feeling about the Disneybound challenge today as we hit the final page of prompts 😆 It's "Character from your favorite Disney sports movie" day, and I had to go with Derice Bannock from the greatest sports movie ever made, Cool Runnings. As a teen, I watched this movie with my high school bestie several times a month, if not more often (this and Detroit Rock City were on regular rotation, along with our Backstreet Boys VHS collection). We listened to the soundtrack over and over AND OVER. I still love it. Start to finish. No other sports film and their emotionally manipulative "inspirational" messaging comes anywhere close... okay, except maybe Mighty Ducks. 😌 💚🖤❤🖤💚 If you could compete in ANY Olympic sport (current abilties aside), what would it be?? Summer or winter, ancient sport or current, but it has to be something that was once officially part of the roster! Day 21: "Movie You've Never Seen Before" I'm so clueless about "Chicken Little" that I didn't even know it was a Disney movie until I looked it up. 🙈 Have you seen it?? What's it like?? Day 17: "Characters Who Are Lucky" Oooh I've been waiting for this day!! I was *delighted* to be able to participate in the most recent round of #BoundToThrift / #HandMeBounds organized by @heyblondieonline, and I received an 🤯AMAZING🤯 and incredibly generous package from @pattycakes_cosplay. She sent me these pants, the green sweater and the yellow shirt, along with numerous other items including that yellow skirt you've been seeing this month! I paired these with my green blazer + white gloves for Gladstone Gander, the 2017 Ducktales version. I originally thought this blazer was too bright, but turns out when combined with these other pieces it photographs *perfectly.* 😄 Also, just pretend you can see my feet wearing yellow socks and/or sandals.
