I happily got back into my crafting zone to handmake my wand, my Merlin hat, and the magical little details on my dress train with my @cricut, while I purchased a silver scarf to mimic Merlin’s fanciful beard and used my own pink pajama shorts as his bloomers! And when Soph found this perfect Magic Happens Merlin-esque brooch at the Expo from @femmedebloom’s booth, it made everything come together, well, magically! 🌟🤩 . She is a major character in the Super Mario Brothers video game series. She is a human from a distant planet and the princess of a kingdom once ruled by her mother, but which she left to inhabit with the Lumas and protect the cosmos. Harmony made its debut in the series with Super Mario Galaxy, a video game released for the Nintendo Wii in 2007, and occasionally returned in subsequent installments. It's Day 4 of March #disneyboundchallenge and today's theme is Villain's sidekicks ! That color immediately reminds me of Anastasia Tremaine, one of Cinderella's wicked step sister BUT she's an interesting character whose evolution can be followed in the two Cinderella sequels. Long story short, Anastasia falls in love with a young pastry chef and doesn't know how to go about it. It is with Cinderella that she will find the help and support necessary to be kinder to others and also looks more "pretty". Obviously her mother, the Lady Tremaine, disapproves their romance because he does not come from an aristocratic background. Following her journey on becoming a better version of herself while making few mistakes and being vulnerable give her lots of humanity we all can relate to. She's far from perfect and even knows she's not as pretty and grateful as Cinderella but she definitely deserves more credit for trying to change her ways and defeating her own mother to find happiness 🙌🏾 Have you seen the all three Cinderella's Disney movies ? I admit I am not really aware about all the Percy Jackson's books, series and films so I did some researches to decide which character I d like to make a #disneybound of. I ve found Annabeth Chase as a good choice because I ve seen that her role had been played by 3 actresses including a young African-American girl @leahsavajeffries in a recent adaptation on @disneyplus. The actress obviously received a wave of racist hate from 'fans' who considered her skin color problematic for the role while the own writer Riordan said about casting her : - " It is inclusive enough that everyone can be a hero — after all, that’s why I wrote the book in the first place,” Riordan said. “My son, because of learning differences, was feeling like an outsider and this was my way of saying, ‘It’s okay. Difference is a strength. You’re gonna be just fine. And you belong in this world. " I know #BHM is done but this is something we need to talk about cause I can so relate to this... I ve faced the same kind of words and comments few years ago when I started to do disneybounds and share them here. As you can see it didn't stop me from doing what I love but this is another proof that representation matters.
