𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐭 🐭 Das dritte Jahr in Folge halten wir die Tradition am Leben! Und auch gestern abend war wieder toll. Ein kleines bisschen haben wir unsere (nicht ganz so) heimlichen Favoriten in der Cast der letzten zwei Jahre vermisst,aber großartig waren auch die Sänger*innen die gestern auf der Bühne standen. Das Programm war auch ein anderes. Viele unbekanntere, oder zumindest seltener gespielte Songs waren dabei und dafür viele Dinge die wir erwartet hatten nicht (Annabell weint besonders dem Tarzan-Block hinterher. Noah vermisst Coco). Allerdings haben sich auch in den neuen Songs ein paar unserer persönlicher Favoriten eingeschlichen: bei Annabell war es "Als mich jemand liebte" aus Toy Story 2 und bei Noah "Ich bin unterwegs" aus Bärenbrüder. Viel Spaß hatten wir auch an Drew Sarichs wirklich großartigen "Arme Seelen in Not" aus Ariel. Die zwei Lieder aus Wish haben uns so überzeugt,dass wir heute erstmal den Film schauen mussten. Die Karten für nächstes Jahr sind schon gebucht und bis dahin werden weiter fleißig Disney Musicals geschaut! (Annabell lebt ja schon im Palladium bei Tarzan...) Danke für den tollen Abend! #musicalrezension Bildbearbeitung mit KI (Hintergrund) Swipe für Spoiler Guten Morgen Reader, was war euer letztes Musical? Vor wenigen Tagen haben wir uns Hercules angesehen und deswegen gibt es hier mal wieder eine Rezension für euch. Das Stück ließ mich final tatsächlich sehr gespalten zurück. In den nachfolgenden Swipes habe ich euch ein paar Spoiler gepackt, falls ihr etwas mehr Input wollt. Die Storyline wich stark vom Film ab und es gab die ein oder andere Abweichung mit der ich mich sehr schwer tat. Musikalisch fand ich die Musen mega und diese haben auch das eher "negative" Gefühl etwas abgemildert, aber auch hier gab es Momente bei denen ich mich fragte "Wieso?" - bei einer Szene war die Verkleidung der Musen beispielsweise ein Trenchchoat, was ja nun nicht wirklich zu der Zeit passt in der Herkules spielt. Am besten umgesetzt war für mich Meg - hier blieb Stage im großen und ganzen der "Vorlage" treu, auch im Umgang mit Männern, ihrer Stärke und vor allem ihren speziellen Dialogen hob sie sich von den anderen ab. Der schwächste Charakter im Rahmen der Umsetzung war für mich aber Hades. Man kennt ihn als sarkastischen Bösewicht, welcher sich mit Witz und seiner ganz eigenen Art in die Herzen von so manchen Disneyliebhaber geschlichen hat - davon war hier jedoch nichts übrig- er war weinerlich und nur darauf bedacht seinem "Bruder" eines auszuwischen und mit seinem Komplex (swipe) empfand ich ihn als schwierig insbesondere auf die eigentliche Zielgruppe, welche ein Disney-Stück ansprechen sollte. Fazit Wären Meg und die Musen nicht gewesen, wäre das Stück für mich persönlich leider ein Flop gewesen. Disney in Concert 2024 Das dritte Jahr in Folge, dass wir unserer Tradition treu bleiben. Und die Selfies sehen tatsächlich mit jedem Jahr ein bisschen weniger verkrampft aus! Ich bin ein bisschen stolz auf uns. Dieses Jahr waren wir wieder in Stuttgart, wie vor zwei Jahren auch schon, aber deutlich näher dran (daher auch mit besseren Fotos...). Allerdings mit einer ganz anderen Cast und einer ganz anderen Songauswahl als die letzten zwei Jahre! Es waren mal mehr "unbekanntere" Lieder dabei, als nur die Standarts. Sehr gefreut hab ich mich zum Beispiel über die zwei Lieder aus Bärenbruder (lieblings Disneyfilm aus Kindertagen) und dass auch aus den Standard - Filmen diesmal andere Lieder gewählt wurden wie z. B. "Warten, dass ein Wunder kommt" aus Encanto. Ein paar Klassiker durften natürlich nicht fehlen, Drew Sarich als Ursula war beispielsweise großartig und auch "Lass jetzt los" aus der Eiskönigin durfte nicht fehlen. Ansonsten hab ich mich absolut in Patricia Meedens Asha verliebt (ich muss den Film dringend noch sehen...) und Gino Emnes hat mir grade mit dem "Ewigen Kreis" eine Gänsehaut beschert. Vielleicht haben wir ja die Karten fürs nächste Jahr schon in der Halle gebucht... Möglicherweise... I had the MOST incredible experience attending the Frozen Broadway Musical. The show was outstanding; the artistry, the performers, the music, the costumes, were unbelievable! The cherry on top was getting to see Brian Martin @btmartz who played Pabby afterwards, where he signed my program and took us on a backstage tour!! I got to see the REAL costumes and the sets and how it all works backstage!! It was a dream. I need to pinch myself!
