Made a Mountain Earl at the puppet-motion workshop of #dongdongdong last Sunday. Mountain Earl's head was a rare stone came from Dunhuang, where was the place known for its mystical murals and grottoes in desert. Sand stucked in the crevice naturally became his nose stud. MILLION DOLLAR CROCODILE (2012) A solid silly fun, B-horror plus comedy style, though there are some moments that feel frustratingly unfinished or could have been much more. Then, there is Barbie Hsu who is quite a definition of annoying beauty to take it or leave it. As for Dong Dongdong's score, it's rather functional but forgettable like a completely situational music that goes through the motions. While I can appreciate the first few minutes with primitive vibes and a few Thomas Newman-esque cues in the film's first half, the sample-like orchestration and the lack of thematic development unfortunately make the overall result very anonymous or even directionless. As much as I love clinical medicine, digital health and MedTech are needed, more than ever in 21st Century healthcare. As the next generation of doctors and healthcare professionals, we need to be equipped for this. Working with @numan 👩🏽💻 has made me realise how important lifestyle medicine is, particularly in men’s health. Health conditions such as erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation and hair loss are prevalent amongst the male population, however it is not taught in the undergraduate curriculum at medical schools. And we do not see it as often within the NHS. We need more teaching on men’s health! Compared to women, men do not seek nor access healthcare as often. Numan is not only about treating patients who have health problems. It’s also about keeping healthy people, particularly men, healthy in the long term. Preventative medicine is equally as important.
