Did you know it isn't always that you need more hair to create a style? If you're blessed with super thick long locks, then a bun like this is going to have a slightly different feel to it (although I do have tricks up my sleeve to hide some of the bulk). On the other hand if the hair was much shorter than the hair in the before picture here, it might be hard to cover the padding to create the shape seen, in which case an alternative style could be suggested or you may want to use extensions to achieve it. Before & After Curly girl but don't want to rock your natural curls for your wedding? Whilst I LOVE a natural curl, we tend to always want the opposite of what we have - and this bridesmaid was no different. The vibe of this wedding over all was bridal but lived in - not too "done” so this bridesmaid wanted a messy wave and to keep the half up part relatively simple and understated. She commented how she's been victim so many times at weddings to not being listened to and not having the stylist adapt their techniques and products to her hair type and she's ended up with hair that she simply hasn't felt comfortable and like herself with. I'm super happy to report that today she was obsessed with how her hair turned out and kept commenting how it's the best it's ever been done. It will also last the whole day as before even starting to create this style I took the extra time to prep all the hair with @colorwowhair Dream Coat to protect against humidity, which is so important when dealing with hair that is liable to frizz back up.
