In spite of that fact that the jalapeño that I picked had some sort of childhood trauma that made it extremely angry, it failed to ruin the cocktail. This is a great summer cocktail! 2 strawberries (roughly chopped) 2 jalapeño slices ½ oz orgeat syrup 1 oz lime juice ¾ oz Cointreau 2 oz tequila blanco (El Tesoro Blanco) Combine strawberries, jalapeño, orgeat, and lime juice into a cocktail shaker and muddle. Add Cointreau and tequila. Add ice and shake vigorously for approximately thirty seconds, until chilled. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice. - RABO DE GALO - I saw this when Anders (@anderserickson) made one on his YouTube channel, so I made this using his spec. One of the best-known drinks in Brazil, Rabo de Galo originated in the mid-1950s after a Cinzano factory opened in São Paulo so leading to rosso (sweet) vermouth being mixed with the local cachaça. ‘Rabo-de-galo’ literally translates from Brazilian Portuguese as rooster tail or ‘cock tail’. In Brazil, a cocktail is called ‘coquetel’. Originally served as a shot in dive bars, which in Brazil are called pés-sujos (literally translates as ‘dirty feet’), the proportions and indeed the drink’s ingredients vary greatly from bar to bar and region to region but are generally accepted as being 2/3 cachaça and 1/3 sweet vermouth. In São Paulo it is now commonplace for the vermouth to be substituted with Cynar, or (as in this cocktail) both sweet vermouth and Cynar to be mixed with the cachaça. This bar used to be a pub called the ‘Fly in the Loaf ‘ and has had a huge refurb and rebrand recently and it’s a great place to go and get some drinks . I wanted to share a quick chocolate cocktail recipe I made the other day and enjoyed over my birthday weekend :) NGL, this drink is the perfect blend of chocolatey and creamy! I call this the Choco-Cream Tequila Dream 😍 Recipe makes two cocktails 🙌🏾 - 3 scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream - 3 BIG shots of Tequila Cream - Chocolate Sauce (Melted Hershey Chocolate + Heavy Whipping Cream) - Splash of Milk (Or non-diary milk of your choice) - 3 fun sized chocolate bars (feel free to us any brand you want) Chocolate Sauce Garnish - Three fun sized Hershey bars - Heavy whipping cream (enough to cover the chocolate) Pop the mixture in the microwave for 15 secs take #out and stir. Continue in 15 sec intervals until chocolate sauce is creamy. ONLY use 1/3 of the chocolate sauce for garnish and save the rest for the drink mixture. Garnish the glass. • Optional: Put cocktail glasses in the Freezer until you are ready to serve. Add Ice Cream, Tequila Cream, milk, and chocolate sauce to a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy!
