Hi Beloved👋🏾, if you are feeling weary in the race of faith, finding it hard to believe, don’t worry; the word of our risen Lord through the Apostle Paul is encouraging: “So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.” Romans 10:17. • God is so good that we only need to keep hearing the word of Christ, and faith comes. There are a few exciting things to note about this verse. First, look at it from Young's Literal Translation: “So then the faith [is] by a report, and the report through a saying of God,” Romans 10:17 YLT98. I love this translation because it is 💁🏾♀️literal, and what we glean is the use of “the” before the word faith. • Whenever “the” definite article appears before the word faith in the Bible, it points to a specific article. In this case, it is the righteousness (justification) that comes by faith. This is important because the foundation of our faith is based on the finished work of Jesus, and we have right standing with God by His blood. We draw our confidence in His work alone, and in Him faith flourishes. It isn’t the amount of faith but where we place our faith that makes all the difference; therefore, as we appreciate the work of Jesus—faith is imparted. • I don’t want to ignore the context of this verse, which is regarding salvation and the message of the Gospel being preached. Yet, God is so good that the word concerning the righteousness that comes by faith continues producing saving graces in our lives as we keep hearing preaching on the finished work. • 🦋 • Continued in comments👇🏾

"Shekinah," from the Hebrew 'shakan,' signifies God's presence in a tangible, often visible form—a concept inferred from biblical descriptions of God's glory. The Bible recounts the Shekinah glory through vivid imagery: a guiding cloud of light, a protective pillar of fire, and a radiant cloud filling Solomon's Temple, each a testament to God's enduring presence. When we whisper this simple prayer—Lord, show me your glory'—we echo our longing for guidance, comfort, and God's unmistakable presence in our lives. God's response to us today is Jesus. It is through Jesus, the Word made flesh, that we truly encounter the fullness of God's glory. The Shekinah glory of the Old Testament finds its ultimate expression and fulfillment in Him. Jesus embodies God's presence, inviting us to an intimate relationship. As we seek God's glory, let us look to Jesus, the perfect revelation of God's love and grace, who invites us into the very heart of God's glory. You're not supposed to settle. You're supposed to cross over to the next level. God called Joshua and his followers to crossover to the other side. God calls them to go on the path they've never gone before. He also says to look at the ark of the covenant when you follow the Levitical priests in Joshua 3. Isn't that what we're supposed to do? Well, we are officially counting down to 2024, and I am curious, what are you doing to ensure next year will be even better? I want to challenge you; if you haven't been thinking about this, now is a good time. 🦋 I've been reading the book of Romans and was reminded why I hold this book dear. It speaks of the depravity woven in humanity, gives the remedy for the condition, goes on to discuss the futility of attempting to live under the Law, the purpose of the Law, and God’s gift of grace. He goes on to speak on the war of the flesh, the righteousness that comes by faith in Jesus, how to possess our inheritance, and a reminder of God’s covenant with Israel, and our response to such a great salvation. Today, we focus on the righteousness of Christ that is a grace gift that opens doors so we are able to reign in life and walk out our assignments as ambassadors of the reconciliation. 🦋 Anchor Verse👇🏾 “For if, because of one man’s trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝑒 𝑔𝒾𝒻𝓉 𝑜𝒻 𝓇𝒾𝑔𝒽𝓉𝑒𝑜𝓊𝓈𝓃𝑒𝓈𝓈 𝓇𝑒𝒾𝑔𝓃 𝒾𝓃 𝓁𝒾𝒻𝑒 𝓉𝒽𝓇𝑜𝓊𝑔𝒽 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝑜𝓃𝑒 𝓂𝒶𝓃 𝒥𝑒𝓈𝓊𝓈 𝒞𝒽𝓇𝒾𝓈𝓉.” Romans 5:17. {italics mine}. 🩵 It’s embracing the truth that we are righteous by faith in Jesus that unlocks the door of reigning in life.
