RECIPE ⬇️ 🍋 CHARD LEEKS WITH LEMON AND ROASTED NOOCH ** The leeks were donated by Olio, the bbq grill is just an old rusty wok placed on the lid of my compost bin. 1000% Beverly Hills Tramp 👍 ** For 6 people 🌱 INGREDIENTS * 3 large leeks * 2 tablespoons olive oil * 2 tablespoons lemon juice * 3 tablespoons nooch (nutritional yeast) * salt and pepper 🌱 METHOD * Heat the bbq until hot. * Place the nooch in a pan and roast until light brown, remove. * Brush the leeks with the oil. Place into the grill and cook on each side or until they begin to char and soften. Sprinkle any herbs you have in the garden to give a unique smell to the smoke. I used wild fennel fans and rosemary flowers. * Serve with lemon juice, olive oil, a sprinkling of nooch and season to taste with salt and pepper. When I was shopping the other day at Smith's I noticed a sale on cereal for Buy 2 get 3 Free-originally $4.49/each. I did a quick calculation and determined that made them cheaper per ounce than the big bags I was originally there for. I was at Walmart the other day and since there is a car wash across the street I ran over to look for coins. I managed to find $.02...but the big score was that sitting next to a garbage can was a grocery bag full of brand new clothing items with tags and 3 remaining Gatorades in a pack! I grabbed them up and took them to my car to examine. I pulled out one item that was from Walmart and immediately went to return it there for $12.85 in store credit!
