After prolonged sessions starting from photography, videography, concept editing and biodiversity the fellows finally came to storytelling and individual storytelling sessions. The session started with filming by mobile phones and creating a short clip by fellows about a random subject around the campus and telling their stories. The following few days were full of fun filming each other and creating a strong and emotional story of each other in a documentary film style. For the final individual storytelling, the fellows chose their story around Talai village, Cheog town and Fagu town coming up with different stories and ideas for execution and deliverance that put them to the next level of understanding the concept of storytelling through a film. The final three days were full swing on editing throughout the day and night to finish it on time. It was such a hectic plus a next-level experience the fellows have faced and enjoyed at the same time. She did her Bachelor of degree in Commerce from Darrang College, Tezpur. She belongs to the Munda tribe of the Adivasi community. She loves creativity and tries to bring out her creative side through filmmaking, photography and, at times, drawings. She is open to experimentation and always thrives on learning new things. She is a Green Hub Alumni. During her fellowship, she did her internship with an organisation ‘Aaranyak’ a leading wildlife NGO based in Guwahati, Assam. It is a Scientific, Industrial Research and frontline environmental organization of India, that works all over the eastern Himalayan region on nature conservation, natural resources management, climate change, disaster management and livelihood enhancement of marginalized communities through research, education and advocacy. During her internship, she had the opportunity to create a documentary film on the Kohora River, which was officially selected by All Livings Things Environmental Film Festival (ALTEFF) for screening. Post fellowship, for two consecutive years she got acknowledged as Youth Ambassador for the Global Sustainability Film Awards 2022 and 2023 organised by TVE, London. She was a training assistant at Green Hub in the year 2022 and 2023 and worked on the North-East India Bio-cultural Conservation Initiative (NEBI) and Other effective area-based conservation measures (OECM) project under United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Currently, she is actively engaged with her community in addressing human-animal conflict within the tea garden while also endeavouring to preserve culture through visual mediums.
