And finally, another three of my favourite dresses in the Guo Pei exhibition: 1. The duck egg blue and gold combo is always a winner in my book. The fabric of this dress was simply beautiful. 2. The watercolour effect here is so pretty, and only emphasised by the voluminous shape of the skirt. 3. Guo Pei does the most amazing 'box of tissues' layering - so much finely folded fabric in the petticoats and under the collar here. The contrast of the fine white layers with the heavy gold brocade with its mad floral embroidery scratches a very particular itch.
