Wowzer, what a busy few weeks it's been for us! Playing a late night set at @shipwreckednz was a real treat. We love that festival and everything it offers. Apologies to anyone that couldn't find us at The Humming Hut, we had a last minute stage change due to unforseen circumstances. @splorefestival was another delight. He started his journey with music playing drums (Djembe) about 20 years ago and in this time has developed a insatiable passion for all music, especially world music. Naturally, he is inspired by the healing qualities of many of these instruments, and uses them as tools to inspire others towards the path of realignment. Working with children, young adults and corporate groups for the past 12 years using play-based learning and music as an interactive medium, chewy runs his business called Rhythm of the Soul. To the stage, performing in many different places over the years, Chewy now finds himself immersed in performances throughout the New Zealand festival scene. He often plays in a Handpan duet called Alive Metal Handpan with his love Martha, a unique and magical partnership.
