Fotoworkshop Island - wir hatten das Flugzeugwrack tätsächlich kurzzeitig für uns alleine 🤩 @the.travelzine @routeshotz @juli_around_the_world @sildeep08 @julia_neubauer_foto_design Wir sind mit dem letzten Shuttle hin, und dann zurück gelaufen. 45 Minuten Fußmarsch wurde uns gesagt. Als wir los laufen, sehen wir schon den Parkplatz von Weitem. "Ach, nie im Leben dauert das 45 Minuten da hin!", da sind wir uns einig. "Da waren die Leute aber echt langsam unterwegs". Und wir laufen. Und laufen. Und laufen. Die Landschaft um uns rum, die in Island ja eigentlich echt spektakulär ist, besteht dort nur aus schwarzen Steinen, die echt blöd zu laufen sind, und NICHTS drum herum. Klitzekleine Berge in weiter Ferne, eigentlich noch nicht mal der Rede wert. Also es gibt nicht wirklich was zu entdecken. Es fühlt sich an, als würde man über den Mond laufen. Der Parkplatz in der Ferne rückt einfach nicht näher, gefühlt sind wir schon 30 Minuten in die Richtung gelaufen. In echt sind es vielleicht 15 Minuten. Nach weiteren (echten) 15 Minuten fühlt es sich schon an wie eine Stunde, und der Parkplatz ist immer noch nicht näher. Wie eine Fatamorgana in der Wüste trügt das Bild in der Ferne 😅 Der Parkplatz lächelt uns an, aber rückt mit jeden Schritt weiter weg... Aber statt Hitze quält uns Kälte und eisiger Wind, und wir wünschen uns in das warme Auto... noch nie haben sich 45 Minuten so lang angefühlt 😂 Und wir sind alle 4 Hundebesitzer, im Laufen also erprobt 😅 Tja und am Ende waren es ziemlich exakt 45 Minuten 🤷♀️😅

Ci stavamo avvicinando al ghiacciaio Myrdalsjökull, attraversando un deserto di spiaggia nera solcato solamente dai fiumi di disgelo nella zona del vulcano Katla. #Fucking_Friday Einige haben es gestern in der Story gesehen - nach 1,5 Jahren hin und her kam es gestern zur Gerichtsverhandlung. Eine Firma, mit der wir zusammen gearbeitet haben, hat mehrfach unsere Bilder ohne Urhebernennung genutzt. Wir haben unsererseits mehrfach sehr sehr nett darauf hingewiesen, dass sie uns bitte nennen sollen. Das wurde sehr schleppend nachgeholt, bringt uns nach 2 Wochen dann natürlich nichts mehr, dann sieht niemand man den Insta-Post. Nach 4x Erinnern und einer sehr konkreten Email, dass wir enttäuscht sind, ignoriert zu werden, und dem Hinweis, dass es in Deutschland gesetzliche Pflicht ist, den Urheber zu nennen - plus einigen anderen Dingen, die nicht so optimal gelaufen sind - haben wir die Zusammenarbeit eingestellt. Nach 2 Jahren haben wir bei ihnen mal wieder geschaut, und wieder recht viele Bilder ohne Urhebernennung gefunden. Und dann sind wir zum Anwalt, denn irgendwann ist auch mal Schluss. Das Schreiben vom Anwalt der Gegenseite war dann auch noch so überheblich, dass wir vor nichts mehr zurück schreckten. Was aber das Schlimmste war, die Gegenseite behauptete, dass wir in einem persönlichen Gespräch auf die Nennung der Urheberschaft verzichtet hätten. Was natürlich totaler Quatsch ist, in dem Gespräch haben wir noch vereinbart, uns gegenseitig zu nennen, um von der gegenseitigen Reichweite zu profitieren. So stand also Aussage gegen Aussage, und Gott sei Dank ist es für uns gut ausgegangen. Aber das ganze war echt super anstrengend, besonders die Fahrt nach München, knapp 4 Std Verhandlung...Floki hat das aber soooo gut gemacht alles, sind echt stolz 🥰 Uns ging es überhaupt nicht darum, da irgendwie Geld rauszuschlagen, sondern einfach um die Gerechtigkeit. Viele große Firmen nutzen einfach die "kleinen Leute" total aus, und die können (oder wollen) sich nicht wehren. Denn wir mussten unseren Anwalt ja auch erst mal bezahlen, und hätten wir gestern verloren, hätten wir auch noch die Gerichtskosten etc. tragen müssen. Aber das Gefühl danach ist einfach super, wieder ein kleiner Gewinn für alle Fotografen, deren Arbeit einfach nicht so wertgeschätzt wird.

To get to Kvernufoss, you will need to hike about 20 minutes from the car park. The hike is easy, but it is important to wear good hiking boots as the terrain can be slippery. Once you reach Kvernufoss, you will be able to walk behind the waterfall. This is a truly unique experience, and one that you will not forget. Kvernufoss is a photo highlight for many reasons. The frozen waterfall is incredibly beautiful, and the setting is simply stunning. The waterfall is also a great place to capture the magic of winter in Iceland. Fire In the Sky - Olafsfjordur, North Iceland A few weeks back, I spent 3 weeks touring Iceland around the summer solstice with my good friend, @Halldor Jonsson Photography. During these few weeks, the sun never sets over the north of the island creating amazing fiery skies as the sun falls towards the horizon before immediately rising. Der Grund, warum ich, Juli, unbedingt nach Island wollte 😅 Wir sind ja beide totale Lostplace Fans - wir haben nur im realen Leben zuhause einfach keine Zeit, auf solche Erkundungstouren zu gehen. Deswegen schaffen wir das immer nur auf Reisen - und als ich irgendwann vor vielen Jahren mal ein Foto von diesem Wrack gesehen habe, wusste ich, ich muss nach Island! 😍 Ja und die Gletscher, Schluchten, Vulkane, Wasserfälle sind natürlich auch nicht so schlecht 😜🤪 Mein Traum ist jetzt noch, das Wrack unter Nordlichtern zu fotografieren.
