One of “must do in Iceland” is going to one of the public or private swimming pools with geothermal water. I've tried both, but Sky Lagoon is a must if you want to experience great view over the Atlantic ocean. For tickets I recommend you book them in advance, because they have limited number for each hour, but you can stay how much you want. There is no limit regarding time spent there. Inside you can relax admiring the view, you have also a bar from where you can buy some drinks. MY ICELAND 🌍🇮🇸 . Terra di Ghiaccio ❄️, Cuore di Fuoco 🌋 , Cascate strepitose 🌊 , Grandi Silenzi 🤫❗️ . Ci troviamo a Saudárkrókur , una ridente cittadina posta ai piedi di un vulcano 🌋 , il secondo centro dell’Islanda settentrionale con una popolazione di 2650 abitanti , che si affaccia sullo Skagafjördur , uno dei numerosi fiordi dell’isola . Siamo ospitati in una costruzione in legno color arancio che in verità è una scuola-collegio per studenti con annesso ristorante . Siccome le case nelle fattorie o nei piccoli paesi limitrofi sono molto sparse , diventava assai difficile raccogliere gli studenti con scuolabus , perciò vengono accolti per il periodo scolastico in questi convitti posti nelle scuole ; poi durante l’estate diventano alloggi per i turisti . Non proprio il massimo , ma abbiamo cenato con ottimo filetto di salmone che qui si pesca in gran quantità , unito alla trota di grandi dimensioni …..i letti son comodi e le piccole camere ben riscaldate . Caratteristico il vicino camposanto in stile U.S.A. . Pure in quest ‘isola magica la vita ha il suo termine …..sin’ora l’avevo dimenticato❗️ . Continuano le curiosità sugli 🧝 🧝♂️: Le dimore degli spiriti sono indicate sulla mappa da puntini di vari colori : marrone per gli Elfi 🧝♂️ , verde per gli Gnomi 🧙, nero per i Nani 🧌, giallo per le Fatine 🧚♀️ e via dicendo . Cartina alla mano , si può girare tra le case variopinte della città alla ricerca di indizi . Per un’indagine più approfondita conviene invece rivolgersi alla Alfasköli , la “ scuola degli Elfi 🧝“ fondata qualche anno fa a Reykjavik dall’insegnante Magnús H. Skarphédinsson , che ha dedicato anni di studio appassionato al mondo segreto di questi spiritelli .
