Uchodźców przyznania statusu uchodźcy i statusu humanitarnego obywatelowi Arabii Saudyjskiej Abdulrahmanowi al-Khalidiemu. Zdaniem NSA akta powinny zostać zwrócone agencji w celu wydania nowego orzeczenia, zgodnego z orzeczeniem sądu i w zgodzie z dowodami, na których podstawie jednoznacznie wiemy, że Abdulrahmanowi w Arabii Saudyjskiej grozi nieuczciwy proces i tortury. NSA podtrzymuje obecnie ustalenia sądu niższej instancji ze stycznia, że działania agencji ds. uchodźców były sprzeczne z decyzją TSUE z 2022 r. o przyznaniu takiego statusu. In January 2020, the UN’s CERD published concluding observations on foot of reviewing Ireland. The committee heard from the Irish government and civil society. We made submissions to the committee and the Minister for Justice refused to allow our comrades to travel to Geneva to engage with the committee. Nonetheless, the committee’s concluding observations included a number of points we had raised in our submission. The committee called on the Irish government to end Direct Provision and reliance on emergency accommodation. Well known Galway Asylum Centre owner suing Irish Government for nearly €2 million 🧑⚖️🧑⚖️🧑⚖️ The Government is being sued for almost €2million by the owner of an asylum accommodation centre in Galway city - The case is currently at the High Court, which heard on Monday that the alleged sums, totalling just under €1.9million, come from a series of allegedly unpaid invoices dated July, August and part of September in 2023 👀👀👀 During this time, Abbeytrill Partnership was working with Galway City Council to bring the building at 7 and 8 Ballybrit Business Park in line with regulations to the satisfaction of GCC - An affidavit from managing director Martin Walsh says that the department signed a two-year contract in May 2023, and initially around 100 asylum applicants were placed in the property - Mr. Walsh also alleges that the department was aware that Abbeytrill were liaising with GCC to bring the building in line with regulations to the council's satisfaction before entering into the agreement with the department #Courts #InternationalProtection #Legal #News #Galway #Ireland #IgersDublin #IgersIreland #IgersGalway #FYP #ForYou #ForYouPage
