Die ersten Tage in Thailand waren wirklich wunderschön! Ich habe immer gedacht das die Thais etwas unfreundlicher sind da das Land so überflutet vom Tourismus ist aber ich wurde schon jetzt vom Gegenteil überzeugt. Sie sind unfassbar lieb, gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit! Meistens sind sie sogar extra einen deutlichen Umweg gefahren um uns an unser Ziel zu bringen. Ich fühle mich jetzt schon unheimlich wohl und es fühlt sich schon fast ein wenig so an als wäre ich zuhause angekommen. Die letzten Tage sind wir den ganzen Weg von Malaysia nach Ko Lanta getrampt wo wir uns 2 Tage lang ein Bungalow für 2,50€ pro Person gegönnt haben. Ich freue mich jetzt schon Thailand für vermutlich 3 Monate mein Zuhause nennen zu dürfen in dem ich trainieren und dann sogar ein paar Kämpfe machen werde. The first few days in Thailand were really wonderful! I always thought the Thais were a little less friendly because the country is so flooded with tourists, but I have already been convinced otherwise. They are super kind, hospitable and helpful! Most of the time, they even drove a significant detour to get us to our destination. I already feel incredibly comfortable and it almost feels a bit like I've arrived home. The last few days we hitchhiked all the way from Malaysia to Ko Lanta where we stayed in a bungalow for 2 days for €2.50 per person. Ein letztes Ziel dieser Asientour soll nun Koh Lanta sein und mit "kleinem" Gepäck machen wir uns mit unserem gemieteten zweirädrigen Flitzer auf den Weg zur etwa 100 km von Krabi entfernten Insel. Noch eine kurze Fährüberfahrt und wir sind da. Koh Lanta ist eigentlich eine eher weniger bekannte Urlaubsinsel. Doch sehr beschaulich wirkt es auf uns zunächst nicht, denn vor allem der Nordwesten der Insel ist touristisch sehr erschlossen. Bei genauerem Hinschauen bemerken wir jedoch, dass die vielen Unterkünfte und Restaurants nicht sehr frequentiert sind. Die weiten Strände sind erfreulich unverbaut und in chilligen Strandrestaurants lassen sich wunderschöne Sonnenuntergänge genießen. Je weiter man nach Süden oder an die Ostküste kommt, umso weniger werden die touristischen Etablissements und die Strände verstecken sich in kleineren Buchten. Groß ist die Insel nicht, gerade mal 30 km lang und 15 km breit, und wir können sie mit unserem Scooter ohne Mühe ausgiebig erkunden. Dabei offenbart sich uns auch die schöne, grüne, dschungelartige Berglandschaft. Nach drei Tagen wechseln wir zu einer Unterkunft auf der Ostseite der Insel, hier gibt es kaum Strände jedoch ein besonderes Highlight: "Die Altstadt", und noch dazu eine sehr hübsche. Koh Lanta Old Town besteht quasi nur aus einer Straße, welche von kleinen Holzhäusern gesäumt ist, die teilweise auf Stelzen bei Flut im Meer stehen und Shops und Restaurants beherbergen. Einst der bedeutendste Ort der Insel, lebt heute das kleine Fischerdorf vom Geschäft mit den Touristen, wobei die meisten nur als Tagesausflug von den Stränden der Westküste herüberkommen. Ein kleiner farbenfroher chinesischer Tempel, bunte Lampions und weiteres sind deutliche Hinweise auf die Wurzeln der hiesigen Bewohner. Wir sind angenehm überrascht von der ruhigen und entspannten Atmosphäre im Ort. Als wir nach 5 Tagen die Insel wieder verlassen wollen, hindert uns zunächst ein heftiger Regenguss. Die Regenzeit hält jetzt spürbar ihren Einzug. Doch wir haben Glück und gelangen trocken zurück nach Krabi. Schon am nächsten Tag tauschen wir den Sitz auf dem Moped mit einem im Bus. 15 Stunden Fahrt - zurück nach Bangkok, liegen nun vor uns.

W ten miesiąc wkroczyłam z zadziornym uśmieszkiem na twarzy. Pomyślałam - teraz miasteczko odkrywaj przede mna wszystkie walory - jestem gotowa! 😍 Rozpoczęłam cudownie bo od świętowania urodzin mojego najfajniejszego człowieka na świecie, następnie jogowe poranki na dachu mieszkania o wschodzie słońca, testowanie nowych smaków - nie tylko tajskich, pauza na mini zatrucie, stałam się częścią „rzeki skuterów” w milionowym mieście azjatyckim (bez szwanku i bez mandatu), odwiedziłam wieś kwitnącej wiśni - gdzie nie było wiśni ale było uroczo, medytacja z mnichem w świątyni ukrytej w lesie, po której okazało się, że jednak nie będę przeglądać się w swoich klonach, dwa dni na szlaku przez dżunglę i nocka pośrodku niczego, mega ulewa w tajlandzkim Zakopanem, projekcja filmów na dachach budynków miasta podczas design week, generalnie duuuużo wszelkiego artu, odjechane świątynie w Chiang Rai, bliski kontakt ze słoniem, wyszukane idealne miejsce do pracy, wyszukana idealna terapeutka, wspaniałe - jak się później okazało - nie jednorazowe (jak to się zdarza w podróży) spotkania z nowymi znajomymi 🫶 Było też dużo pracy każdego dnia, podjęłam współpracę z Kamilą - korektorką, której pracę nad treścią Atlasu Przygód oraz współpracę wychwalam w niebiosa do dzisiaj! Nasze dzieło nabierało blasku ✨ Koniec wojaży na Północy Tajlandii był początkiem wyspiarskiego żyćka na Ko Lata… Właśnie zdałam sobie sprawę z tego, na jak trudne wyzwanie się porwałam - streścić w poście miesiąc z życia w podróży - nierealne dla mnie🙈 Muszę przemyśleć jak to rozwiązać… cd w komentarzu. #tajlandia #nomadgirl #kartkazpamiętnika #kobietapoczterdziestce #chiangmai
