It has been pure joy directing the LA Choral Lab for a second concert cycle. There are no words to adequately express the joy of singing with @selahgospelchoir this past weekend! I’m sooo grateful for this community of singers and our incredible director and leadership team! I’m also beyond grateful for @carissalemos who flew down for the concert and was so so supportive, and for @richcrandall who came to both shows, volunteered, and stood and clapped almost the whole time! 💜 At one point during Sunday’s concert, I remember thinking “This is the world I want to live in” - inclusive and loving and diverse and expansive and determined to create beauty, speak the truth, and hold space for ALL of life’s hurt and hope.
