Life in Gaza is no longer the same because the once refreshing Mediterranean breeze now comes laced with thick clouds of smoke and stench of blood. The six months of war have reduced the lively Gaza to a spectacle of destruction. Due to all this, the Gazans find it difficult to distinguish between planes delivering aid and those carrying out airstrikes, making the situation extremely dire. But despite everything, the “Gazan Spirit”, remains unbroken. To honour this spirit and help the people of Gaza in their difficult time CSP Club BUIC, with the support of Bahria University and the Al-Khidmat Foundation initiated the second phase of the “Gaza Donation Drive” in the sacred month of Ramadan and it lasted for the entire month. During the drive, desks were set up on the campus, and an awareness campaign was run side by side on social media platforms and on campus to appeal for donations. While SMAS can be an invisible illness depending on one’s individual symptoms, I believe educating on invisible illness teacher a far bigger lesson. Educating on invisible illnesses helps show people the depth of the saying “you never know what somebody is going through.” It can be a reminder that somebody may be in a bad mood not because they are mean, but because they are struggling. Today, we had the privilege of interviewing Jack, a local young individual dedicated to making a positive impact in our community. The road to being a Godlike person is not easy for we encounter many trials, but we just continue to be faithful, and the miracles will just come unexpectedly to each one of us. As the Bible verse said, For Many Are Called, But Few Are Chosen. ' (Matthew 22:14), Many are invited or called via the general call of the gospel, which is presented through the Bible, churches, missionaries, and any type of evangelism. Jesus sends His Spirit to live within His followers, so that is the start.
