Iโm constantly tinkering with lighting techniques recreating other looks that I love. In this case, I saw a portrait of @beauwalchek with this nice gradient in the backdrop. So I thought, why not try to create something similar? This is a fairly simple 2 light setup using 4โ Octabox w/ a grid and flagged off the top 3rd of the modifier and gridded 1โ x 4โ strip box behind my subject to have a little control of brightness of the backdrop. Late post ๐ [Part1] Been to @sushi.sonagi on January since everyone talks how good it is! Sonagi was opened former Kanpai place on Artesia blvd which is iโm very familiar with. Before move to 626, I lived about 10 years in South bay. south bay holds special place in my heart ๐ฅฐ The restraint was nicely renovated and couldnโt recognize it used to be Kanpai. Daniel san and his wife welcomes us with warmest hospitality โค๏ธ Ankimo with this pie was definitely highlight of the night. I love Ankimo in general but wow! the quality of pie itself!
