I was listening to a podcast and somebody mentioned that they uploaded a weekly picture carousel, it allows people to get to know you more than the blog posts you put up so here is my week. Monday: working in Joe & The Juice on some new things for the blog, for my gift shop business and a new business I am going to be launching. Tuesday: I have a new logo which may look simple but I really love it. Wednesday: the Home & Gift Buyers’ Festival page is up and running and Maude & Noah is on it. I feel like a proper adult and business woman seeing that. Thursday: trying to be healthier drinking this green drink. Friday: I am trying out these tablets to see if I can treat myself to gluten filled foods. Saturday: got a new stand for my perfumes from FM World. April theatre dump The Drifters Girl, HMT Aberdeen: Wasn't entirely sure what to expect of this one knowing nothing about the Drifters beforehand. An incredible cast, an incredible story and an absolute delight to see in the theatre. Would definitely take the opportunity to see again if I got the chance. Bonnie & Clyde, HMT Aberdeen: This show...is just the best. I saw it in London a year ago and absolutely fell in love with it so naturally I saw it a further 4 times when it was up here which now makes it my most watched show ever. There is nothing not to love. The vocals, the music and the cast are all absolutely sensational. Also had the pleasure of seeing both Katie Tonkinson and Lauren Jones as Bonnie: both incredible and both making Bonnie entirely their own. Would watch a million times. I guess one more time in Edinburgh wouldn't potentially hurt? 🤔 Scottish Ballet Swan Lake, HMT Aberdeen: This seemed to get quite mixed reviews from what I could pick up from listening to other members of the audience.Personally, I really enjoyed it - it was raw, stripped back and not a tutu in sight. Scottish Ballet always seem to do something a little different with their productions (Cinders being an example) and I like things with a twist. Only negative thing I can say is the audience were not the best (one of the worst I've encountered tbh) but that is zero reflection on the production itself. The production was amazing. Hamilton, Festival Theatre, Edinburgh: I have a confession: I didn't get the hype...until I saw it onstage this month. I was quite clearly wrong as I thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish so much so that I have had a Hamilton earworm permanently in my head all day. It was so enjoyable...and one I would see again.
