Milestone achieved! ๐ I almost didn't apply because during the time of application, I was overwhelmed with different things to prioritize in academics and in my leadership roles. But I guess, I was able to find a way knowing that I was trusted by the administration to represent the university. 08. 13. 2022 Travelled to Iriga City again to be one of the Panelists in the ๐ฆ๐ธ๐ฎ๐น๐ฒ ๐จ๐ฃ ๐ช๐ผ๐ฟ๐ธ๐๐ต๐ผ๐ฝ organized by @ilinang.ph and funded by YSEALI Seeds for the Future 2022. ๐ It was composed of 40 outstanding youth leaders in Iriga City. The event hoped to create an avenue for aspiring youth leaders across sectors and groups to amplify the youth's voice in nation-building. I became part of a panel discussion about '๐๐ฏ๐ฅ๐ฆ๐ณ๐ด๐ต๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ๐ช๐ฏ๐จ ๐๐ฐ๐ค๐ช๐ข๐ญ ๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ญ๐ช๐ต๐ช๐ฆ๐ด' to equip the participants with a deeper perspective regarding the different social issues we are facing and how to come up with innovative solutions to address it. Social realities are beyond what we see on the surface. May we choose to dig deep in order to grasp the root causes of every social dilemma. I always start a journey with a vision and during my first year, I was very studious, competitive, and focused for my goal was Summa Cum Laude. But it was a dream far-fetched in the department. Still, I couldn't resist entering different organizations, serving the students, and doing extra-curricular activities. I have lived for this and it was called me again in college. It's an understatement to say that I somehow I took a separate course on extra-curricular activities. hahaha. It was a lot and I know it comes with a price. But I never stopped dreaming and I'm more than ever motivated to succeed. Pandemic came, sobrang challenged ako. Di alam ng lahat, in my 4th year, wala akong sariling laptop. Nanghihiram lang ako sa kapatid ko. I don't have a conducive working safe space at home at nagstruggle rin financially. But I don't show it instead kinailangang mas lumaban at magpatuloy. Sa totoo lang, this has been a long pursuit for me kasi elementary pa nagsimula. Simula elementary, JHS, and SHS, I always fell short as the Most Outstanding Student/Pupil.
