Gerade kursierte so viel der Story Sticker "etwas Grünes"- eine Farbe, die ich liebe und an der ich echt schwer vorbeikomme. Und doch... Eins meiner liebsten grünen Nähwerke der letzten Monate ist zwar definitiv dieses hier, eins der #schlamasselchen aus dem Probenähen von @rabaukowitsch 💚. Ursprünglich war der grüne Sweat aber ein online-Fehlkauf und lag hier lange, da weder ich noch die Kinder etwas mit dieser Nuance anfangen konnten. Jedenfalls solo. Als Colourblock jedoch gefällt uns der Farbton jedoch dermaßen bombastisch, dass ich nun doch zu wenig von dem Stoff habe 😅. Good morning guys! Today I’m sharing this little close up of my “Textured Love” pattern as you guys have seemed to LOVE it so far ♥️ When I was brainstorming ideas for what to stitch up for valentines patterns for this year and pulling colours, I came across one of the DMC variegated flosses with a mix of bright and rich reds and knew I wanted to either do a heart or some lettering with it! I then settled on doing some French knots to really show off the multicoloured reds and came around to doing a textured love pattern ✨ This pattern was designed for a 7” hoop which is great for 2 reasons: 1. It makes it super easy to stitch in the letters and 2. It’s a great size to hang on your wall as art or as part of a gallery wall 💕 I also think it’s fun because you can swap out any colour palette you’d like and play around with other fun variegated colours or just do pure blocked colours! Just think how cool that fluffy V would look with multicoloured floss 😍 What do you guys think of the Textured Love pattern? It’s now available in my shop for you to grab and get stitching ✂️

Starting off this monday with a little Patchwork Heart love! ♥️ This is one of the exemplars I painted and stitched up as one of the examples for my “Patchwork Hearts” Valentines Craft Kit! It’s one of the first times experimenting with watercolours for an embroidery design and I detailed all my tips and tricks in the “working with watercolours on fabric” guide included in both the kit pattern and the digital pattern 🎨 My Valentines Kits will be available for order until this Wednesday the 25th (and then shipped out on the 26th) as I’ll then be away from my shop for a couple weeks after that leading up until Valentine’s Day! 💕 I know a lot of you guys have already said that the patchwork hearts is your fave design from my valentines collection part 1 (part 2 coming later this week) but I want to know: which colour fabric you would choose to stitch it on?

Wooden beads, felt ornaments, fresh greenery and golden bells are all the elements that inspired my new “Bells and Beads” embroidery pattern! 🤎 I knew I wanted to do a more rustic neutral palette and when I was pulling colours, the green and golds really jumped out at me 🌿 This pattern is essentially mostly satin stitch, with a little bit of chain stitch and whipped back stitch thrown in, so I would say it’s more intermediate, or for a beginner looking to really practice their skill set 🪡 What do you guys think of this pattern? ✂️
