We are pleased to introduce you to the New Deputy Chair of the Space4Autism Trustee Team, Chrissie. Chrissie originally trained as an LD nurse and then a general nurse before developing her career and qualifications in nursing and quality leadership. For several years she held very senior leadership positions in the NHS and in the local authority, as well as several years experience as a trustee. Prior to retirement in 2021, Chrissie was a Chief Nurse in the NHS, the lead nurse for a large consultancy, undertaking high profile complex investigations and the Chair of a charity for children & young people’s mental health. As well as joining Space4Autism Chrissie is a board member for a national not for profit organisation delivering housing and supported living services. She is vegan and volunteers at a sanctuary for rescued farm animals. Chrissie says that her inspiration is the opportunity to improve lives and advocate for the vulnerable and disadvantaged.
