Depois de uma viagem de férias pelo França, o arquiteto Marco Antonio Medeiros trouxe inspirações para realizar a terceira edição da mostra MAM Design & Co com foco na Provence. "O local é berço de grandes artistas, sobretudo de artesãos. Alugamos um carro e percorremos toda a costa para conhecer as pequenas cidades que compõem a região. Foi encantador", diz. Sala de estar, de reuniões e área externa recebem cores, objetos artesanais e detalhes que remetem a região francesa. O projeto é realizado em seu escritório-laboratório de criação, na Avenida Trompowsky, em Florianópolis, com fornecedores parceiros. I don’t frequent thrift stores as much as I used to…a side effect of price gouging at the majority of them. If I go now, it’s mostly looking for rare vintage oddities. What I found yesterday at the local Sally Ann are a set of very unusual metal plates. They are stamped ‘Palladium Plate - Made in Italy’. Palladium is of course a lesser known precious metal that has a price point on par with Gold & Platinum! Combined with the quality & craftsmanship of anything made in Italy…I decided I needed to have them and boy was it satisfying polishing them up! There is no brand stamp on them beyond an odd triple PacMan stamp. I’m half thinking the gold bands could also be gold plate… anyone able to identify the designer of this prestigious set? (If your local I’ll reward you with antique bottles or silverware for a correct identification).
