📸 @iammrpeanut - Wednesday: ⛅️ Warm with occasional sunny spells; isolated showers PM - Day High 20°C - Night Low 11°C - Light E’ly winds - ☀️⬆️ 5:33AM - ☀️⬇️ 8:39PM Good morning everyone! Happy May Day! As we say goodbye to April showers for 11 months, we welcome in those first hints of summer as the days continue to grow long and the nights get ever so short. Here is the outlook for the next few days in Manchester. ▪️Wednesday: Mild this morning with occasional spells of sunshine coming through as cloudy skies slowly break up. A similar theme for the afternoon, although cloud will increase again and the sunny spells will be hazier. A few isolated heavy showers will develop towards the middle of the afternoon and into the evening. These showers will be hit and miss. Winds will be light and it will feel warm as temperatures climb into the highs teens and a few spots as high as 20°C. 🟠🤧 HIGH Pollen. 🟡☀️ Moderate UV (max 5). 🟢💨 Low air pollution ✅👕 Good drying weather but watch out for those showers PM. ▪️Wednesday Night: Isolated showers will die out into tonight to leave a partly clear and mild night. Turning breezy. Lows of 11°C. ▪️Thursday: 🌤️ Breezy and warm with plenty of sunny spells. Highs of 20°C. ▪️Friday: 🌧️ Cooler with periods of rain on and off, some of which will be heavy and potentially thundery. Highs of 15°C. ▪️Saturday: 🌦️Hazy spells of sunshine with the risk of showers breaking out. Highs of 18°C. ▪️Outlook: 🌦️ Quite warm but changeable day-to-day. Have a nice Wednesday everyone! That sunshine yesterday was lovely, even the wind couldn’t spoil it. 📸 Manchester Central Library and Spring Blossom on Tuesday morning. 📸 @monicasphotograph - Tuesday: ⛅️ Windy with sunny spells developing - Day high 19°C - Night low 8°C - SE’ly winds - 40mph gusts - ☀️⬆️ 5:35AM - ☀️⬇️ 8:37PM Good morning everyone! The final day of April will bring us some welcome warmer air and the sun will shine at times as well. ▪️Tuesday: Starting cloudy for most with a few showers in the west, these soon clearing. Hazy sunshine will come through as the morning progresses before the cloud breaks up to allow for some bluer sky and warm sunny spells during the afternoon. Like yesterday, it will be windy and gusts will exceed 35mph at times. The wind will pump up warmer air and air temperatures will climb as high as 19°C locally, although it will feel a few degrees cooler than this away from shelter. 🟠🤧 HIGH Pollen. 🟡☀️ Moderate UV (max 5). 🟢💨 Low air pollution (source: DEFRA. ✅👕 A great day for drying as long as you have strong pegs! 😬 ▪️Tuesday Night: Hazy/cloudy in the west prior to sunset, then partly cloudy overnight. Rain will try to edge in from the west after midnight but shouldn’t amount to much more than drizzle and a few sporadic light showers. Cool but not cold and turning calm. Lows of 8°C. ▪️Wednesday: 🌦️ Winds will be much lighter on Wednesday and despite large amounts of cloud, there will be some occasional sunny spells. Showers will threaten later in the afternoon, though. Feeling pleasantly warm. Highs of 18°C. Have a nice Tuesday everyone! Just one more month of meteorological spring. I’m sure it will be better than the first 2 months! 😂 📸 Alexandra Park near Whalley Range on Monday morning. 📸 @remje93 - Monday: 🌦️ Windy with showery rain PM - Day high 14°C - Night low 11°C - 35mph wind southerly gusts - ☀️⬆️ 5:37AM -☀️⬇️ 8:36PM Good morning everyone! A day of transition as we welcome in a warmer air mass for the week ahead, but it will be windy and wet at times during today. Here is the outlook weather outlook for Manchester. ▪️Monday: Starting mixed this morning with a scattering of showers which will soon die out. There will then be plenty of dry weather and the occasional bright spell during the remainder of the morning, although winds will gradually strengthen. Unfortunately, showery rain will begin to move in from the west during the afternoon, this holding off for the longest in the east. Winds will gust up to 35mph during the afternoon, but this will pump in milder air and temperatures will reach up to 14°C. Still feel chilly though, given the wind. Staying wet during the evening. 🟡☀️ Moderate UV (max 5). 🟡🤧 Moderate Pollen. 🟢💨 Low air pollution (source: DEFRA) ✅👕 Windy weather will make for good drying conditions at times. ▪️Monday Night: Outbreaks of rain will continue for a time after nightfall before drier conditions arrive towards midnight. Skies will then stay mostly cloudy and temperatures will remain in double figures for all areas. Lows of 11°C. ▪️Tuesday: 🌦️ Feeling much warmer than of late during Tuesday with bright/hazy sunny spells, the best of which will be in central and eastern areas. Western areas will be at risk of encountering a shower later in the day. Less windy but still breezy with highs of 18°C. ▪️Wednesday: 🌥️ Muggy on Wednesday with large amounts of cloud which will be thick enough to produce a few light showers, mainly after lunchtime. Winds will be light. Max 18°C. ▪️Thursday: 🌧️ Cloudy on Thursday and still feeling muggy with showery outbreaks of rain. Drier and brighter later in the afternoon. Cooler. Max 16°C. ▪️Friday: 🌦️ Warmer again on Friday with some sunny spells, but there will be showers at times as well. Highs of 18°C. 📸 Bright sunset skies at Deansgate tram station recently. 📸 @therapy.up.north - Saturday: ⛅️ Sunny spells early on then mostly cloudy - Day high 12°C - Night low 4°C - Gentle ENE’ly breeze - ☀️⬆️ 5:41AM - ☀️⬇️ 8:32PM Good morning everyone! A few more days of unseasonably chilly weather before temperatures rise. Here is the latest forecast for Manchester. ▪️Saturday: A dry and fine start with plenty of sunshine. Like yesterday, cloud will increase as the morning progresses and skies will become mostly cloudy by the afternoon. The cloud will be thick enough to produce a few spots of rain and a light shower later, mainly towards the evening. Whilst winds will be gentle overall, there will be occasional gusts up to 25mph which will add to the wind chill. Highs of 12°C. 🟡☀️ Moderate UV (4). 🟡🤧 Moderate Pollen. 🟢💨 Low air pollution (source: DEFRA) ✅👕 Good drying weather for most of the day. ▪️Saturday Night: Skies will remain cloudy throughout the night and there will occasional light rain and drizzle, especially in the south and east. The cloud will prevent a frost forming. Lows of 4°C. ▪️Sunday: 🌧️ then 🌦️ A disappointing day on Sunday due to cloudy skies and outbreaks of rain. Western areas will be driest and it will gradually turn drier more widely towards the middle of the afternoon. A clearance should allow for a bright evening, though. Chilly with highs of 12°C. ▪️Outlook: 🌦️ Much milder/warmer next week. The warmth will be driven by low pressure, so there will still be the risk of showers on Monday and Tuesday, although there will be some welcome sunshine too. Muggy and more mixed from midweek but not turning cold. Full outlook tomorrow! Have a nice Saturday everyone! I’ve had enough of this cold weather now so I’m looking forward to next week. Normally I wouldn’t be too excited about 17°C/18°C, but after being stuck in single figures a lot this week, it will probably feel a lot more pleasant than it normally would. 📸 Partly cloudy skies at RHS Bridgewater on Friday morning. 📸 @chereel - Friday: 🌦️ Largely cloudy with a few showers - Day high 11°C - Night low 2°C (Risk of frost) - Gentle ENE’ly breeze - ☀️⬆️ 5:43AM - ☀️⬇️ 8:30PM Good morning everyone! Happy Friday! Remaining chilly with mixed weather fortunes this weekend before temperatures finally recover next week. Here is the weekend outlook for Manchester. ▪️Friday: A cold start to the day with plenty of clear weather allowing for sunshine for a fine. Cloud will soon increase through the middle part of the morning and sunny spells will become limited. Largely cloudy skies will follow into and during the afternoon and a few heavy showers will break out. Temperatures will peak at 11°C with a gentle breeze from the East North-East. 🟡☀️ Moderate UV (4). 🟡🤧 Moderate Pollen. 🟢💨 Low air pollution (source: DEFRA) ✅👕 Good drying weather AM but less so from lunchtime onwards. ▪️Friday Night: Cloud will become well broken tonight and once again, there will be the risk of ground frost. Conditions will be dry and temperatures will slip to 2°C. Winds will be light. ▪️Saturday: 🌦️ Another decent start on Saturday with early sunny spells. However, cloud will become widespread and it will feel cold as an east north-easterly breeze increases in speed. Rain will threaten south Manchester by the middle of the afternoon, although areas further north and west may escape the rain. Air temperatures will be touch milder but this won’t be really noticeable. Highs of 12°C. ▪️Sunday: 🌦️ Cloudy and damp for most during Sunday morning with outbreaks of rain, this, this most widespread in the east. Turning drier later with some brightness coming through in the west. Still feel chilly though with highs of 12°C. ▪️Next Week: This current cold air originally sourced from the arctic will finally make way next week. Temperatures will climb to their seasonal average (around the mid-teens) and it will feel pleasant during any sunny spells. Have a nice Friday everyone! 📸 Sunset in Bolton on Wednesday evening. 📸 @milica_tripunovic_photo_ - Thursday: 🌦️ Chilly with a few showers - Day high 10°C - Night low 1°C (Risk of frost) - Gentle NNE’ly breeze - ☀️⬆️ 5:46AM - ☀️⬇️ 8:28PM Good morning everyone! A rather mixed day of weather today. Here is the latest forecast for Manchester. ▪️Thursday: Largely overcast this morning with scattered light showers and drizzle around, especially first thing. Skies should gradually brighten towards lunchtime but a mix of bright spells and isolated showers will feature during the afternoon. Considering it is now late April, it will feel chilly throughout the day. Temperatures will peak at 10°C with a gentle but cold feeling breeze from the north. 🟡☀️ Moderate UV (4). 🟡🤧 Moderate Pollen. 🟢💨 Low air pollution (source: DEFRA) 😬👕 Not the best drying day unless your clothes dry quickly (during drier periods). ▪️Thursday Night: Any showers will die out through the evening to leave a cold night with clear spells and light winds. All areas will be vulnerable to a ground frost, especially where skies clear for longest locally. Lows of 1°C. ▪️Friday: Starting cold with a fair amount of sunny spells on Friday. Cloud will increase and there will be a few showers later, but there will be a few sunny spells too. Still feeling chilly with a maximum temperature of 13°C. ▪️Outlook: Low pressure will begin to dominate the weather scene this weekend, making the weather a little milder but unsettled. Whilst it won’t be a washout weekend, both days will probably present rain at some point, with Sunday looking like the wettest day at the moment. Turning much milder next week but remaining changeable. ▪️Have a nice Thursday everyone! I’m looking forward to it being less cold soon. 📸 @leahwhitehorse001 - Wednesday: ⛅️ Dry with patchy cloud & sunny intervals - Day high 12°C - Night low 2°C (risk of frost) - Gentle N’ly breeze - ☀️⬆️ 5:48AM - ☀️⬇️ 8:27PM Good morning everyone! Dry weather again today but that nip will be in the air again and it will feel chilly when the sun goes in. Not bad overall! ▪️Wednesday: A beautiful start for most with sunny skies overhead despite it feeling cold. Patchy cloud will increase as the morning progresses, and that will leave the rest of the day with a mix of cloudy and sunny spells. The cloud should stay more broken than it was yesterday, equally meaning there will be more sunny spells on offer, especially in the west. A gentle breeze will blow from the north and temperatures will reach a maximal of 12°C. 🟡☀️ Moderate UV (4). 🟡🤧 Moderate Pollen. 🟢💨 Low air pollution (source: DEFRA) ✅👕 Fine to hang the washing outside. Wednesday Night: Another cold night will follow with the risk of ground frost, especially in rural areas. Skies will often be clear and winds will be light. Lows of 2°C. ◼️Outlook: Warmth will continue to evade for the rest of this week and the weather will be rather mixed and often cloudy. Staying changeable and potentially thundery at times next week, although it will at least feel much warmer than of late. More on that soon. ▪️Thursday: ☁️ A dull day on Thursday with spits and spots of rain and chilly temperatures. Highs of 11°C. ▪️Friday: 🌦️ Starting dry with some sunny spells on Friday but cloud will build and there will be a few light showers during the afternoon. Highs of 11°C. ▪️Saturday: 🌦️ Breezy on Saturday with mostly cloudy skies and the risk of showery rain, this mainly after lunchtime. A touch milder. Highs of 13°C. ▪️Sunday: 🌦️ Breezy again on Sunday, with showers at times, although there should be some sunny intervals here and there. Highs of 13°C. Have a nice Wednesday everyone! Today could well be our best day of this week. We just need some fortune with the cloud cover. West will be best today! 🤞☀️ 📸 Rhododendron blooms in Fletcher Moss Gardens, Didsbury. 📸 @jobo_photos - Tuesday: ⛅️ Dry with a mix of cloudy & sunny spells - Day high 13°C - Night low 2°C (risk of frost) - Gentle NNE’ly breeze - ☀️⬆️ 5:50AM - ☀️⬇️ 8:25PM Good morning everyone! Much better weather today! ▪️Tuesday: A mixed morning in terms of cloud with early sunny spells becoming replaced by mostly cloudy skies for a time. The cloud that builds will thin out and break up a little from the north towards lunchtime and this will allow for an afternoon of occasional sunny spells accompanied by dry conditions. Air temperatures will be close to average and despite a chilly breeze from the north north-east, it should feel pleasant enough when the sun pops out. Highs of 13°C. 🟡☀️ Moderate UV (4). 🟡🤧 Moderate Pollen. 🟢💨 Low air pollution (source: DEFRA) ✅👕 A good day for drying clothes outside. ▪️Tuesday Night: The breeze will ease into tonight and temperatures will drop away under long clear spells. All areas will be at risk of a touch of ground frost, so don’t forget to protect any tender plants and flowers. Lows of 2°C. ▪️Wednesday: ⛅️ Another decent day tomorrow with plenty of sunny spells to enjoy. Cloud amounts will be higher after the morning, but there will still be some sunny spells here and there. Dry but cool though. Highs of 12°C. ▪️Outlook: 🌦️ Chilly with sunny spells and the increasing risk of showers on Thursday before an unsettled end to the week and start of the weekend. Temperatures climbing a little. Have a lovely Tuesday everyone! Let’s hope the cloud is in short supply and the sunshine ends up plentiful. Either way, at least today will be better than that dull and damp Monday we’ve just had. 📸 New Islington Marina on Saturday morning with that mackerel sky overhead. Monday: 🌧️ Rain AM; drier PM but cloudy - Day high 10°C - Night low 3°C - Light SSW’ly winds - ☀️⬆️ 5:52AM - ☀️⬇️ 8:23PM Good morning everyone! I think we can be pretty happy with how the weekend turned out. Even with chilly air temperatures, it really felt warm when the sun did come out. Unfortunately, a murky and soggy Monday awaits, although Tuesday and Wednesday will be drier. Here is the latest outlook for Manchester. ▪️Monday: Dull and chilly to start this morning with light to moderate rain. The rain will become more patchy towards lunchtime and there will be some drier periods more widely by the afternoon. Drizzle will interrupt locally these drier periods, although all areas should eventually become dry later in the afternoon. Skies will remain cloudy for most of the day before some late brightness in the west ahead of sunset. Winds will be light with a temperature high of only 10°C. ▪️Monday Night: A chilly night with variable amounts of cloud will follow tonight. Mist will develop rurally and temperatures will drop to around 3°C which will bring the slight risk of a ground frost. ▪️Tuesday: ⛅️ A chilly start on Tuesday with some sunny spells. Cloud building later, but there should still be some occasional bright spells. Highs of 12°C. ▪️Wednesday: ⛅️ Almost a repeat of Tuesday with the best of any sunny spells early in the day. Slight risk of a shower later. Highs of 12°C. ▪️Thursday: 🌦️ Another bright start on Thursday before cloud steadily builds. Risk of showers breaking out later. Highs of 12°C. ▪️Friday: 🌦️ Still chilly on Friday with bright spells and April showers. Highs of 11°C. ▪️Weekend: 🌦️ Turning milder but also more unsettled as low pressure dominates. Have a great day everyone! Despite a chilly week, at least it won’t be a washout all week long. Warm and settled weather still seems to want to avoid us. 📸 One for the cat lovers! 📸 @remje93 - Sunday: ⛅️ Mostly cloudy - Day high 12°C - Night low 4°C - Light NE’ly winds - ☀️⬆️ 5:54AM - ☀️⬇️ 8:21PM Good morning everyone! Yesterday we finally managed a dry day in what seems like a first in recent weeks. Many of us will see a repeat of that dry weather today despite often cloudy skies. ▪️Sunday: A cold and dull to start in most places with localised drizzle which will soon die out. Then, despite large amounts of cloud throughout the day, there should be some occasional bright spells, more so in that afternoon. Winds will be light and temperatures will climb to around 13°C. A dull end to the day is likely as thicker cloud edges down from the north. 🟡☀️ Moderate UV (max 4). ✅👕 A good day for drying clothes despite the light winds. 🟢🤧 Low Pollen 🟢💨 Low air pollution (source: DEFRA) ▪️Sunday Night: Mostly cloudy tonight with the cloud thick enough for light rain and drizzle at times. The cloud will help to prevent a frost and temperatures will stay above 4°C. Like during the daytime, winds will be light. ▪️Outlook: High pressure will retreat westwards and open up those cold winds from the north once again this week, so staying chilly with variable cloud and the risk of April showers. ▪️Monday: ☁️ Cloudy with sporadic light rain and drizzle, although not a washout. Highs of 12°C. ▪️Tuesday: 🌦️ Sunny intervals but turning cloudier with the risk of a shower later. Breezy. Highs of 12°C. ▪️Wednesday: 🌦️ Similar to Tuesday, with a fine start followed by a murkier afternoon with the risk of a shower or 2. Highs of 12°C. ▪️Thursday - weekend: 🌦️ Remaining chilly but turning less settled with a higher risk of April showers. Have a nice Sunday everyone! My optimism paid off yesterday, and it did turn out a lot sunnier than expected, at least where I was, anyway. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for more of that today! It can be tricky to predict where the cloud will be when we have high pressure over us, but it sure is a delight when we get sunshine and light winds at this time of year. 📸 Golden hour at Deansgate railway station on Thursday. 📸 @marking_impressions - Saturday: 🌤️ Spring sunshine AM; cloudier PM - Day high 14°C - Night low 2°C - Light NNW’ly winds - ☀️⬆️ 5:57AM - ☀️⬇️ 8:19PM Good morning everyone! Even though we’ve seen some sunshine this week, we have unfortunately encountered rain at some point each day as well. High pressure has been stuck out to the West, drawing in cold winds and showers around it from the north with a few weather fronts in the mix as well. Such a pain! We should finally have a dry day today, but the cloud is expected to increase later. ▪️Saturday: Cold and sunny to start this morning after a clear night. The April sunshine will lift temperatures quickly and in light winds, it should eventually feel pleasant before the morning ends. The Pennines will block out patchy cloud for a time, but early in the afternoon, the cloud will have more success at spilling in. As a result, many areas will go on to experience a cloudy afternoon. Temperatures will peak at 14°C in the West where the sunshine should last longest and winds will be light. 🟡☀️ Moderate UV (max 4). 🟢🤧 Low Pollen 🟢💨 Low air pollution (source: DEFRA) ✅👕 Good drying weather, especially AM. ▪️Saturday Night: Cold again tonight, albeit temperatures won’t drop as low as on Friday night. Clear spells will bring the risk of a touch of frost and conditions will be dry. Lows of 2°C. ▪️Sunday: ⛅️ Mostly cloudy on Sunday and feeling chilly under the cloud. The cloud may become thick enough for a few spots of rain here and there. Winds will be light. Highs of 12°C. Have a nice Saturday everyone! Sometimes with this weather setup, it can end up being clearer/sunnier than expected. Whilst the models do suggest we’re in for cloudy skies later, a small part of me is optimistic that we’ll do better than the forecast. If not, at least it will be dry! 😎 📸 Sunset at Salford Quays/Media city earlier this week. Taken by Priyanka Agarwal / IG = @marking_impressions #ManchesterWeather #Manchester #weather

📸 Gaynor Doyle - Friday: 🌦️ Largely cloudy with a few showers - Day high 12°C - Night low 1°C (High risk of frost) - NW’ly winds (30MPH gusts- ☀️⬆️ 5:59AM - ☀️⬇️ 8:17PM Good morning everyone! Happy Friday! ▪️Friday: Most places start this morning off with large amounts of cloud with a few isolated showers around. Whilst showers will die out for a time and a few sunny spells will break out, clouds amounts will be high, making the sunny breaks rather brief. There will be the growing risk of a shower during the afternoon, which like earlier this week, may produce hail. Western areas of Greater Manchester will stand the best chance of avoiding the showers later. Temperatures will be chilly peaking at 12°C, which will feel colder given the wind direction will still be from the north west. ▪️Friday Night: High pressure will steadily build in from the west into tonight. After a sunnier end to the day prior to sunset (mainly in the west), skies will become clear overnight and winds will fall light. This will lead to the high risk of frost, especially rurally where temperatures will fall close to freezing. ▪️Saturday: 🌤️ A cold and frosty start on Saturday with blue skies and sunshine overhead. The sunshine will last for most of the morning, but patchy cloud will start to increase and interrupt the sunshine by the afternoon. Cloud is likely to become extensive for most, although western areas of Greater Manchester may hold on to the sunshine. Winds will be lighter than if late and it will feel warmer too, with a high up to 15°C. ▪️Sunday: ⛅️ Predominantly cloudy on Sunday with the occasional sunny intervals. Despite the cloud, conditions should be dry and winds will be light. Temperatures will be around average, peaking at 13°C. ▪️Next Week: Staying mostly dry and settled, but it won’t always be sunny as high pressure moves around. When the sunshine is limited, temperatures will be a little below average. More unsettled late in the week. 📸 Blue sky and blossom blooms in Wythenshawe Park earlier this week. Thursday: 🌦️Sunny spells AM; turning cloudy with showery rain PM - Day high 12°C - Night low 7°C - Gentle W’ly breeze - ☀️⬆️ 6:01AM - ☀️⬇️ 8:16PM Good morning everyone! The best of the weather will be this morning before a cloudier and rather damp afternoon. Here is the latest Manchester weather forecast. ▪️Thursday: Feeling cold this morning despite light winds to start the day. Sunshine should be plentiful for the first half of the morning before patchy cloud increases from the north towards lunchtime. Skies will be mostly cloudy into and during the afternoon and showery rain and drizzle will edge in from the north. South Manchester areas will stay driest for the longest. Turning breezy later and remaining chilly with highs of 12°C. 🟡☀️ Moderate UV (max 4). 🟢🤧 Low Pollen 🟢💨 Low air pollution (source: DEFRA) ✅👕 Bring the washing inside around lunchtime approx. ▪️Thursday Night: A breezy and mild night will follow with further showery rain, this heavy for a time later in the night as a cold front moves down. Lows of 7°C. ▪️Friday: ⛅️ Mostly dry tomorrow with occasional sunny spells but also a lot of cloud cover which will make any sunshine hazy. Once again, it will be chilly as winds come down from the north west. Highs of 12°C. ▪️Weekend: 🌤️ Noticeably milder this weekend with some pleasant spells of sunshine. Occasionally, cloud will bubble up and spread out as it gets trapped under high pressure, this is always most likely around the middle of the days. Highs in the mid-teens with light winds too. Have a great day everyone! I’ll be on Wythenshawe FM from 10AM until midday if you fancy a listen. I’ll have lots of Manchester music this week as well. Thanks for your support on here and with the radio too! 😎 📸 Flame of the forest against the blue evening sky we had on Tuesday. This one is from my garden. #ManchesterWeather #Manchester #weather

The best of the sunshine will be this morning as it will be tomorrow too. Not too bad overall, though! Here is the latest weather outlook for Manchester. ▪️Wednesday: A cold start this morning despite plenty of clear and then weather sunny (away from patchy mist locally). Patchy cloud will steadily increase as the morning progresses, although conditions should remain dry for the morning. From lunchtime onwards, skies will be largely cloudy with occasional showers, these not as heavy or as widespread as they were on Tuesday. With a north westerly wind direction, it will feel chilly throughout the day and temperatures will peak below average at 11°C. 🟡🤧 Moderate Pollen 🟡☀️ Moderate UV (max 4). 🟢💨 Low air pollution (source: DEFRA) ✅👕 Fine drying weather AM but dodgy in the afternoon. ▪️Wednesday night: Any showers will die out through the evening and a mostly clear night will follow. A ground frost will develop, especially in rural areas where temperatures may dip to as low as -1°C. Winds will be light. ▪️Thursday: 🌦️ A similar start tomorrow with sunny spells, but it will soon turn cloudy and showery light rain will arrive from the north during the afternoon. Potentially staying dry in south Manchester depending on the southern extent of the rain. Breezy. Highs of 12°C. ▪️Friday: ⛅️ Mostly dry on Friday, but it will be cloudy at times with the morning and late afternoon period offering the best of any sunshine. Breezy again. Highs of 13°C. ▪️Saturday: 🌤️ A fine day is likely on Saturday with light winds and plenty of sunny spells. Milder as well. Highs of 15°C. ▪️Sunday: ⛅️ Sunny to start before cloud bubbles up and spreads out later Sunday. There will still be some sunny spells during the afternoon, though. Highs of. 16°C. 📸 Moody skies at Reddish Vale Country Park on Tuesday. Taken by JO B Northern Photographer / IG = @jobo_photos #Manchester #ManchesterWeather #Weather

Tuesday: 🌤️ Breezy with sunny spells & the odd shower - Day high 13°C - Night low 2°C (Risk of frost tonight) - NNW’ly winds (30mph gusts) - ☀️⬆️ 6:06AM - ☀️⬇️ 8:12PM Good morning everyone! Tons better today after that dismal Monday! Here is the latest forecast for Manchester. ▪️Tuesday: There will be variable amounts of patchy cloud this will morning with pleasant spells of sunshine in the breaks. Winds will be at their lightest to start the day as well, but it will turn breezy as the day progresses and gusts will reach up to 30mph during the afternoon. Further sunny spells will follow for the afternoon, but patchy cloud will increase and this will lead to the odd shower locally, although for most it will be a dry day. Temperatures will peak at 13°C, which is close to average the average for this time of year. 🟡🤧 Moderate Pollen 🟡☀️ Moderate UV (max 4). 🟢💨 Low air pollution (source: DEFRA) ✅👕 A great day for drying the washing outside. ✅ ▪️Tuesday Night: Mostly fine during the evening despite the slight chance of a shower. Dry overnight with long clear spells and a gentle breeze which will fall light later, bringing the risk of a touch of frost. The best chance of sunshine will always be during the mornings before cloud bubbles up and increases later. Warmer and calmer by the weekend as high pressure finally builds more centrally over the UK. Have a nice Tuesday everyone! I know yesterday won’t take much beating so enjoy the better weather. It’s nothing we’re not used to, Happy Monday ☔️ Our post features our friend Ralph @ralphandriver wearing his navy 4 leg water resistant fleece to stay warm and dry on those poor weather days 💙🐾 #pawsomesuits #dogfleece #dogonesie #dogsuit #dogcoat #dogcoats #wetdogwalks #winterwalkies #smallhandmadebusiness #handmadebusiness #manchester #manchesterweather

📸 @monicasphotographs - Monday: 🌦️ Heavy showers; very windy with gusts up to 50mph - Day high 9°C - Night low 3°C - ☀️⬆️ 6:08AM - ☀️⬇️ 8:10PM Good morning everyone! Cold and stormy weather today, before our weather slowly improves from tomorrow. Here is the latest weather outlook for Manchester. ▪️Monday AM: A band of heavy rain will promptly clear to the south east this morning, but unfortunately, showers of heavy rain and hail will follow on behind. The sun will make fleeting appearances between the showers. Winds will quickly strengthen and wind gusts will widely gust up to 45mph with locally high gusts possible on higher ground and away from shelter. ▪️Monday PM: Remaining very windy and changeable during this afternoon with a mix of sunny spells and heavy showers/downpours. Hail will often fall with the showers and the showers may turn thundery. Feeling bitter in WNW’ly winds with a maximum temperature of 9°C. 🟡🤧 Moderate Pollen 🟡☀️ Moderate UV (max 4). 🟢💨 Low air pollution (source: DEFRA) ❎👕 Poor drying weather unless you can sprint in and out like prime Usain Bolt. ▪️Monday Night: Showers will become well isolated after dark and despite the night being windy, wind gusts speeds will decrease as the night progresses. Temperatures will drop to low single figures, but it will be a frost free night thanks to the wind and patchy cloud cover. Lows of 3°C. ◼️And then…A chilly week with plenty of dry weather. ▪️Tuesday: 🌦️ A much better day on Tuesday with sunny spells and a few showers. Still feeling cold in a north westerly breeze, though. Highs of 13°C. ▪️Wednesday: ⛅️ Northerly winds will make it feel chilly on Wednesday, but there will be some sunny spells and showers will be few and far between. Highs of 11°C. ▪️Thursday: ⛅️ Mostly dry on Thursday with sunny spells during the morning away from early mist patches. Cloudier later and feeling chilly. Highs of 12°C. 📸 A peacock enjoying the dry weather in Heaton Park(Animal Centre) on Sunday. Taken my Monica / @monicasphotographs #Manchester #ManchesterWeather #Weather

📸 @therapy.up.north - Sunday: 🌦️ A bright start then turning cloudy with a few showers - Day high 12°C - Night low 5°C - WSW’ly winds/25 mph gusts - ☀️⬆️ 6:10AM - ☀️⬇️ 8:08PM Good morning everyone! Winter will dig back in early this week before a gradual improvement in weather fortunes later. ▪️Sunday: A chilly morning greets us, although there will at least be some sunny spells for those up early. Cloud amounts will steadily increase as the morning progresses and into the afternoon, isolated showers will develop. A few of us will be lucky enough to escape these showers, but skies will be mostly cloudy during the afternoon and into the evening. Temperature wise, we are looking at a high of 12°C, which will feel chilly given it will be a breezy day too. 🟡🤧 Moderate Pollen 🟡☀️ Moderate UV (max 3). 🟢💨 Low air pollution (source: DEFRA) ✅👕 Good weather for drying AM but be aware of showers PM. ▪️Sunday Night: Staying mostly cloudy overnight with isolated showers through the evening. Showers will increase during the early hours of Monday to give us a wetter second half of the night. Locally heavy downpours are likely by dawn. Breezy and chilly with lows of 5°C. ▪️Monday: 🌦️ Thermals and a big coat are advised on Monday as temperatures take a tumble and the weather turns wet and windy. Downpours of rain and hail will push down intermittently during the day and winds will gust up to 50mph. Don’t be surprised if you see some sleet or wet snow on the hills too. Highs of 9°C. ▪️Tuesday: 🌦️ Better weather thankfully awaits us for Tuesday as we see a mix of bright spells and showers. Most of the showers will develop during the second half of the day. Still quite cold though with highs around 11°C. ▪️Outlook: Our weather will slowly settle down from the middle of the week as high pressure builds from the west. Initially, conditions will still be chilly with the risk of showers from the north before the high pressure system mores more centrally over the UK into the weekend.
