My friend Kailey of Beaufort Nursery will have a selection of his exotic plants available at the greenhouse sale on May 5th. Kailey and his wife Nathalie, run Beaufort together, a hidden little gem in Comox. "We tend to grow and propagate a mix of anything that we would grow here at our own home. If we wouldn't grow it then most likely we wouldn't bother selling it. Passion is what drives us." Kailey and Nathalie work with nature and their own specific micro climates to grow the unusual, border line hardy, or just hard to source plants. "Our yard is a collectors garden full of lots of wonderful drought tolerant cacti, water loving timber bamboo or shade loving perennials." Beaufort's mission is to make every gardener leave happy and full of inspired creativity for their future gardens. Dostawa roślin!🤸🏻♀️ I muszę powiedzieć, że całkiem fajowa, bo przyjechało sporo większych okazów 🌴 Są gigantyczne wręcz grubosze, Strelitzia augusta i mój ukochany, super gęsty Philodendron scandens💚 Są też hojki w fantastycznych odmianach 'Blondie' oraz 'Eskimio', Syngonium 'Pixie' o słodkich, drobnych listeczkach, długaśny Aeschynanthus japhrolepis, figowce dębolistne oraz żywozielone Asplenium. I tutaj muszę się zatrzymać na chwilę, bo moje serce krwawi, gdyż dzisiejszy mróz ściął na ament wszystkie moje ogrodowe paprocie😥 A to najlepszy ich czas, kiedy rozwijają się świeże pastorały, kocham ten okres i uważam, że nie ma nic piękniejszego na całym świecie. Natura jest jednak bezwzględna. Na szczęście okryłam moją czereśnię i ocaliłam wszystkie 4 (słownie cztery) owoce. Będą zbiory👌 Jak zdążę przed szpakami.
