The waitress who was serving us started crying when word of knowledge and healing was released to her. The manifest presence of God was strongly upon her throughout the conversation. She got completely healed. She said, "This is my first time ever encountering this." Suddenly, she felt guilty and added, "I attend a Christian church but I don't go regularly as I need to work." My wife replied, "It's not about the church you go to. It's about our relationship with Him." She nodded and asked, "Which church do you guys go to?" My wife responded, "It's not about the building. It's really about our relationship ---- you and Him." Church is not about service or building. You and I are the Church. Let no one cause you to have a guilt trap for missing church services.

Sunday Meditation Let me admit to having frustration with churches. Often, it's the branding of their message—judgment first, followed by manipulative guilting techniques to keep people in line. It seems they don't consider their audience—primarily people who are seeking to worship God. Since I've been studying the parables of Jesus recently, it's come to my attention that one of the most common hindrances to understanding Jesus' teaching is to completely ignore the audience to whom he was speaking, as well as the historical context in which it was spoken. Most often Jesus was addressing the leadership of Israel and those who followed them. New Testament warnings were generally pointed at that particular generation—who would be facing the destruction of their nation and way of life at the hands of the Romans. As Messiah, Jesus presented them with the ultimate fork in the road. Unless they followed his warnings instead of trusting the scribes and Pharisees, they would be destroyed within the supposed safety of Herod's temple. This is foundational to understanding Jesus' New Covenant—the fulfillment of God's promise to Abraham that through his descendants, people of all nations would come to follow him. If a pastor does not know this, I doubt he can accurately or effectively present the good news of the gospel. God's redemptive plan is a promise kept, not a threat hanging over our heads. #NewCovenant #deconstruction #reconstruction

1st Reading: 1 Peter 5:5b-14 We see in today’s first reading, "Put on humility." The Greek implies the act of clothing ones self with an apron such as slaves wore, this is an appropriate symbol inasmuch as the saint has, at the start of verse 5, told his readers to be subordinate to one another. That husbands and wives, slaves and masters, parents and children are to be subordinate to one another may sound contradictory, but obviously the saint means that we are to serve others according to our state in life and the gifts we have. The Greek word for humility is tapeinophrosyne which is a compound word. Tapeinos refers to something which stays close to the ground, while phren can refer to the heart or mind. The word conveys the idea of not being arrogant or self-seeking. For God resists the proud but bestows his grace on the humble . Establishes the foundation for the call to subordination and humility (see James 4:6; also Prov 3:34). Recall that in the first half of verse 5 (not part of the liturgical text) Christians are told to be subordinate to one another. Be you humble therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in time. Humility and the subordination/service it fosters will not be without its reward at the “time” (judgment). The one who is humble now will be exalted then, while the one who is proud now will be brought low, for God “resists (literally battles against) the proud. The thought reminds me of Isaiah 2:9-17 and Mary’s canticle in Luke 1:46-55. Casting all your cares upon him, for he hath care for you. Notice how the second half of the verse provides motive for the imperative that opens it. But also notice that the previous verse also provides motive. There is intense irony in the phrase casting all your cares upon him because the Greek word translated “casting” implies something done carelessly. Because God cares for us, our cares should be seen as of no account. St.Peter the Apostle is warning us about the Devil seeking to ruin our souls. The Devil is eternally defeated by God but he wants to bring all of us down with him because he cannot defeat God but he can always bring us down with him. (Read more below)

A prophetic word I heard from the Lord in April 25th 2024 It’s a call to the bride of Christ to draw near to Jesus. The time has come to draw near to the Bride. (Revelations 22:17) The Bride is quinched with thirst and malnourished and needs the true waters of life. (John 4:13-14) It’s time for the parched waters to become the rivers of life. Abundant waters not lacking anything in life, but over abundant living to come to the surface, It’s a time for my covenant bride to come to life, full of the living water, filled with my power and giving Jesus all the glory! This Bride will be purified in the secret place. Preparing her garments to be cleaned and ready for her bridegroom. John 7:38 whoever believes in me out of his heart will flow rivers of living water. Ezekiel 47, Zechariah 14:8, Pictures of waters flowing from the temple to come… we are now the temple in these last days and the water is the spirit flowing in and through us. The consecrated covenant bride is filled with this kind of water that is all powerful and cleanses purifies flowing and pouring the holy spirit onto others as well never to be kept for just themselves but to be poured over to the people all to show the glory of God and the nature of God. Will God stop loving me? . When Jesus was baptized in the River Jordan, God the Father spoke from heaven. “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.” . Jesus had not yet begun his ministry. He had not healed any sick people, nor trained any disciples. Yet God said, “I love him and am well pleased with him.” . God loves us for who we are and without regard for our résumé. His love is not improved by the good things we do, nor is it diminished by the bad. . Perhaps you’ve heard that sinning will cause God to stop loving you. It can’t happen. Your sin has more chance of extinguishing the sun than dimming your Father’s love for you. . Jesus said, “As the Father loved me, I have loved you; abide in my love.” The question we must ask is not, “Will God stop loving me?” but, “Will I abide in his love?” . To abide is to rest. . To abide is to breathe. . To pause. . To dwell. . It’s remembering that the Father loves Jesus unconditionally, and that Jesus loves us the same way. How Satan sees us | If we truly knew who we were in God seated with Christ in the heavenly places, coworkers with God, given dominion over the land, that we are that much a threat to satan and his empire. If we truly saw what satan sees when he takes one look at us, you wouldn't be able to sleep tonight. Even you would be afraid of the image of God you fully saw and comprehended. That image who is YOU. Your words have power, your decrees give life to the present, learn to use that office God has entrusted you with. His very office, here on Earth. Remember: For you have not come unto Hagar, unto the mountain of God (as Moses did, Elijah did, and as even dare I say Jesus did before His ascension), you have come to The New Jerusalem. Learn to function as a god here on Earth. Learn to cower not to principalities or rulers of darkness, but only to revere the Supreme God, the Trinitarian, Father, Son and Spirit. If we are to grow into the mind of Christ, which when Jesus had, He did not consider it robbery (stealing) to be equal with God, how much more us? I love how Prophet Makandiwa broke it down. It is only blasphemy when you desire to supplant God in Heaven, but as for the Earth, He Himself said I have given it for you. Our choices or lack thereof will climax on that day God will stand in the assembly of the gods and ask unto us, "until when will YOU judge unrighteously?" The God of the old covenant is gone. He was JUDGE and now we have received a new covenant, where He is a graceful God, living inside of us, so we can JUDGE righteously. Though our weapons are not carnal, they are effective against the Babylonian systems that run this world. It's time for every believer to truly awaken to their god-nature, god-identity, god-being, god-form. "I said, ye are gods, all of you sons of the Most High, but ye shall die like mere men.." if you do not assume your full identity.
