"Health is wealth." Yeah, we've all heard it but how many ppl actually EXPERIENCE it? I'll tell you one thing that's for certain -- If you don't have your health, you have nothing else; everything else is meaningless It's not one or the other either (I mistakenly thought this for a long time, too) -- it's BOTH. I know this from EXPERIENCE. I was very sick in my early teens and it took me most of life to get it back. Now I'm stronger, smarter, happier, healthier, wiser, and most certainly richer in every area of life, and it wasn't by accident either; it was by necessity. I have what most ppl strive for but never can seem to get. I take it for granted sometimes because I NEVER get sick, yet I'm certainly not immortal. If I do the things that cause illness, I feel shitty. It's simple physics. I'm so happy and grateful I lost my health early on because now that I've regained it, I have the ENERGY to go after wealth, or quite frankly anything I want. I have CHOICES, and it's not traditional money that made it so. What about most ppl who, if they're lucky, reach 65, 70, 75, 80 and have nothing left? No energy, inspiration, ambition, or joy. Even if they did, their body is dead, so how are they going to go places? And what about 2/3 of the US whose overweight or obese? Take a look around. That's pretty much everyone. For me, it's all about ENERGY (health) first. Flaming Wrekage ~ Terra Inferna [melodeath] 🇦🇺 This Australian melodeath band, Flaming Wrekage, has been around and dropping albums for quite a few years now, but Terra Inferna is the first album I’ve heard from them. “Witch Hunt” is a bubbly opening track with some interesting melodic leads and a nice composition. The guitars on this album operate in a uniform lane for the most part, but there are plenty of interesting riffs to go around and the passionate vocals on the hooks deserve center stage. “Blood and Bone” is another highlight for me, this time in mid-tempo fashion, but replete with those catchy riffs and memorable verses. “Paralysis” has some really interesting core riffs that glue to your head after just a few listens. Elitists beware, because Flaming Wrekage occasionally borders a radio-friendly sound, but the guitar work is solid and exciting enough for the music to still rock. A god of death, healing, travel and messages; Hermes is a good with a 'golden' disposition and fits into the Divine Child archetype. Being both a psychopomp and skilled physician (both symbolised by the Caduceus staff) he is unusually placed as perhaps a less intimidating guide than other gods of death and the afterlife such as Thanatos, Hekate, or Hades. Hermes/ Mercury can also be classed as a Trickster and god of theives, however he also has many more subtle and nuanced qualities than the archetype. “STOP! STOP! STOP!” “Stop! Stop! Stop!” were Jalayah’s last words, heard by a neighbor on 5/26/23 at 3:42am, begging for her life! The neighbor also reported they heard THUMPS. It had been alleged that the mother tied her hands and feet together, hung her in a closet, and struck her repeatedly with a hard object. When the mother, Lynija Eason - Kumar called 911, she reported that she found her daughter cold and not breathing inside a closet. She claimed that she attempted to administer CPR, but she was not successful. There were bruises on her wrist and torso & cause of death is blunt force injuries, malnourishment, and positional asphyxia. The case is still under investigation. Where did it all go wrong? It’s unimaginable how someone could beat their own precious child to death. This sweet precious girl had nothing but love in her heart. A neighbor even said, “She was so sweet, always showing me love, showing affection, always giving me a hug!” In 2022, Jalayah’s 8 year old brother told school officials that his mother punched and kicked him for drinking from the sink. His face was swollen and bruised. The school officials reported “excessive corporal punishment, inadequate food, clothing, shelter, swelling, dislocation, and sprains.” ACS (Administration for Children Services) determined report was UNFOUNDED and closed the case. More reports were made and the father continues to fight for custody of his kids. The kids told their father, “Daddy, we can’t tell you what happened cause if we tell you we’re going to get into trouble when we go back home.” May 12, 2023, a caseworker made a virtual home visit. May 17, 2023, the last attempted home visit & school visit before tragedy struck 9 days later. The father will be in court August 31, 2024 with the paternity results in hopes that the judge will allow him to bury his daughter.
