Nicola Misso from ‘I Can Explore’ taught guiding skills and other strategies and tips related to orientation and mobility. Participants also learnt about vision, hearing, the role of a Communication Guide, deafblind communication methods and strategies, ethics and professionalism, and technology. Premiere am @landestheatereisenach! 🎭 Am Wochenende wurde erstmals ein Stück mit einer Audiodeskription für blinde und sehbehinderte Gäste gezeigt. 🎧 Das Team von @hoermal.audio erarbeitete die Beschreibungen, die live während der Vorstellung eingesprochen wurden. Gemeinsam mit Moritz von Schurer wurde eine Bühnen- und Stückeinführung organisiert. So erlebten unsere zahlreich erschienenen Gäste einen unterhaltsamen Abend mit der Komödie „Frau Müller muss weg“. Wir danken dem Freunde und Förderer des Landestheaters Eisenach e. V., der @wartburg_sparkasse und der Peter Mädler Stiftung für die Unterstützung des Projekts! Eine weitere Vorstellung der Komödie mit Audiodeskription findet am 15. Juni 2024 um 19:30 Uhr statt. Der Treffpunkt zur Tastführung ist um 18:15 Uhr im Theaterfoyer. Letze Woche Montag war ich zu Besuch beim Theater Tempus fugit in Lörrach. Hier durfte ich zusammen mit meiner Kollegin Claudia einen Sensibilisierungsworkshop zum Thema Inklusion für das aktuelle Spielzeitteam gestalten. Wir hatten einen interessanten Tag, welcher sich aus theoretischen Impulsen und ganz praktischen Übungen zusammensetzte. Come with me on, what may be, a long walk 👣 In the spring of 2019, shortly after my last surgery, I took my first outing. It was just a little Moms Market. But for my new normal it meant so much more. It took convincing to get Troy to even driving me there. You see, I lost my vision in those surgeries so the “easy” was no longer so “easy”. The Market was being held in a location I was familiar with. Heck I had probably been there a hundred times. Even hosted my own events there. But now I felt lost trying to find my way around. I came around the corner to a booth and after asking question found a girl selling a product I had recently learned of online but had been wanting to see (lol) and touch. The longer we talked the more it was apparent it was not about that or ANY product!!!!! She was selling light, uplift, and HOPE. A purpose for ME again. AND THAT IS WHAT I NEEDED IN MY LIFE!!!!! I needed to know and feel like me again!!!!! She could have been selling a box of rocks that day it DIDN’T MATTER! But I can tell you not a day goes by that I am not completely and utterly thankful for that Devine moment! Now I want to give PURPOSE to you!
