Everything taught during this time is meant to improve the abilities of the participants to respond decisively with a trained response to an attack of this type. The Nomad Krav Maga - Krav Maga Level 1 Instructor Certification Course is an intensive 5 day course which certifies the prospective Instructor to lead classes like an expert and teach the full curriculum of Level 1. Little Kids Krav Maga is our newest program, for little kids aged 7-10 years old! We teach them the same effective self-defense techniques that we teach the older kids, and even adults - but we make it even more fun to learn and focus on how to recognize and avoid danger! Little Kids in our program learn how to be aware of their surroundings, use their voice, learn about safety and danger, as well as our full basic self-defense curriculum. They learn strikes like punches, kicks, hammerfists, knees, and elbows; technical striking from Boxing and Muay Thai (integrated into our Krav Maga); escapes from chokes and grabs; ground defenses and how to escape from the ground to their feet; takedowns and takedown defenses; and more! Each class is packed with fun exercises and drills to get their heart rates up and their fitness levels improving. They have fun getting in shape! Little Kids students also learn respect and discipline, having to respond with โYES SIR (or maโam)โ and how to pay attention while the coaches are teaching. Team work and leadership skills are also learned! This class is held every Saturday morning from 10:00-10:45am, once per week.
