Pascal got a new hop table and tunnel this morning and I think it's safe to say he likes the new tunnel very much. π Although his hop table is now moved next to his window platform. . I absolutely love it too because it's acts like a system of tunnels you would find in a warren. π° . It's so important to give Rabbits lots of things to do because they get bored easily! They aren't designed to be kept in a cage/hutch/pen all day everyday. They need the same freedom as a house cat or dog in a safe large room with no boundaries. I honestly cannot thank the wonderful Charlotte/ @blossomandivy enough. ππ . I dropped her a message only a few days ago asking if she could paint a Pascal sign for his home and she captured him perfectly and included my favourite flowers, sunflowers! . Then after she sent me a picture of it, my brain went DING and I asked if she possibly had time to paint Jenson (mine and my best friend's kitty who recently went across the rainbow bridge) as a surprise for him. . Pascal hasn't been on my grid in a wee while! Mostly because he's just so bloody hyper he never sits still for more than a minute! ππ . But here's a quick update on him as it's been so long! . He recently went to the vets for his last set of jabs this year and passed a health check with flying colours! Missing toes are also doing well and causing him no issues! He's now of age for his neutering which is happening at the end of the month! We are officially nervous bunny parents! But it's what's best for rabbits because they can contract really nasty health issues if they're not done! . We have now had him for 6 months and he's been an absolute joy. It's crazy to think he will be 1 in just 3 months! It's crazy how fast he settled in and how well trained he already is! . I definitely couldn't have gotten through the first few months of what actually felt like parental worry (I mean I can't have human children, so Pascal IS my child π) without the help of my best friend @missedenvader and her expert bunny advise! π . #disney #rabbit #rabbits #bunny #bunnies #pascal #pascalthebunny #disneypets #disneypet
Who needs a human baby in a sling when you can have a bunny in your dungarees? π . And for those worried, yes he was perfectly fine! He stomps for cuddles which most rabbits don't normally do but Pascal thinks he's a human/dog most of the time. I picked him up for a cuddle and kept slipping down my dungarees, so I loosened them and let him slide down. He was safe, supported with my hands and comfortable and happy enough to chill there and give me little kisses. π€ I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who's bunny isn't keen on being handled or lifted off the ground. Pascal has always been comfortable being picked up and chilling with me however other bunnies may not be the same!
