Update from today! My first client, we were both so pleased with the progress we have made in her treatment plan since last July! She has had a session of Sculptra, a session of radiesse, full face tox and also some filler for facial balancing and helping to smooth fine lines! She looks lifted and refreshed! My second client, can’t help herself with having her cup of coffee in the morning before her appointment 😂 so, we had a little bruising, but she overall, wanted to focus on the shape of her Cupid’s bow and just plumping the middle of her bottom lip. It’s so important to me to listen to my clients and what THEY want! ☕️ My third client, recently had a half syringe for maintenance but after our appointment, she realized she wanted a little more oomph! New year, ____me. What would be your choice of words to complete the blank? Mine would be “New year, better me.” I personally love New Year as a chance to reset, recalibrate, and set intentions for the year. But I don’t love the pressure society puts on us with the whole “new year, new me” mentality. We’re continuing evolving creatures so my mindset most of the time is be better than you were yesterday or in this case, better than be me of last year. But honestly you can decide to make a change anytime. So while the “New Year” may mean an influx of people setting resolutions and hitting the gym or joining your hobby space. You can honesty decide to do that on a random Thursday in May too. This life is what we make of it, if you don’t like something or want something different, change it. We get this one life, we need to live it! As for the new faces you may see in your gym, hobby space, etc. welcome them. Everyone was a beginner at some point, even you. Personally, I love seeing new faces and help them finding a way to stay. It reminds me to pay forward those that helped me in the beginning. When I started @burnbethelpark six years ago, I had plenty of reasons to disappear, mainly the lack of belief in myself, and if it hadn’t been for some random strangers, some of whom would become good friends, I wouldn’t have stayed. I was back in the Burgh for Thanksgiving last week and have some eats to share 🤗 I caught up with some dear friends I don’t get to see that often at @altaviapgh that just opened up in Market Square! We put our names in for bar seating, and walked around for a bit while we waited for a spot (it was packed). Sitting at the bar was great, the bartender was lovely and great to talk to. For my meal I started off with ricotta toast (a must always for me) and got the half sized portion of Tortelli. Both were so yummy 😋 I love the concept of half portions of pasta so you can try out more of the menu! I was invited to try a few...(ok more than a few) of their features by the glass with a fun group. Their Wine Librarian Kendra walked us through everything from a Timarrosso (first time trying ekk) to a Moroccan Syrah. There are few places where you can get such unique finds by the glass and PA Market should be at the top of your list. We also sampled food from a few spots including a Southern Charcuterie Board and Three Little Pigs pizza. Sadly, I didn't get any of those one film because the phone did not eat first...we did. Highlights glasses for me: *Lugana by Nunzio Ghiraldi which is an Italian white made from Turbiana grapes. *Mencia from Raul Perez 'Ultreia Saint Jaques' One of my favorite Spanish regions and a PERFECT fall glass.
