I had a very tough time deciding what to post first today. So, I decided to go with something new for me. After I finished up at Allegheny Commons Park, I headed to another famous North Side location, Randyland ! I have to say, with all sincerity, that I had a thrill of excitement when I drove up Arch Street and saw Randyland in the rising sun. The image is of the plot of the unidentified from the 1889 Johnstown flood. There are over 750 unidentified here, some being found as far away as 600 miles in Cincinnati, and as late as 1911. Very powerful place and a stark reminder of just how strong water can be. I exposed this image around 24 hours ago at a @film.cameran.click workshop held at @shootstudio32 in Johnstown PA. We spent the morning taking photos around Johnstown, and then spent the afternoon developing the film and learning darkroom printing from the roll. (I got to leave with more than a few prints I made myself). Big thanks to Cameron and Ed, I had a great time learning and being out with you guys.
