We’ve had the pleasure of visiting the always spectacular Japanese Garden with Around Portland Tours friends and family (here, on a 19th birthday trip with one of our young people) and we can’t recommend it enough! We often stop by at the end of our Forest Park Experience but are contemplating reviving an old concept, the Meditative Garden Bike Tour. As so many of our products, we are thrilled to create custom tours around local favorites like this… if you need a great birthday or Mother’s Day gift… or just because. Moments from the Japanese Garden - I just had so many shots I wanted to share from my most recent trip there, so here are a few more. The first set were mostly macros, but this set is mostly features the trees and views of this amazing place. And someone taking it all in. The first shot is looking through the branches of "The Tree". I was leaning into the glare produced by the sun hitting the lens as it streamed through the branches and leaves.
