I wanted to share a little post to tell you about the online therapy I have been having for just under a year now with @online_therapy_uk * TRIGGER WARNING * If you've already read my pinned post then you'll be aware that I have been suffering with PTSD/C-PTSD since waking up from a coma in hospital with no memory of the past ten years. I was absolutely terrifide. I didn't know who I was now. Everyone had moved on, gotten older. There were people who I thought were always gonna be in my life that were no longer there. There were things I thought I would have achieved by the age I am now, that I had to accept were never gonna happen. There were things I had achieved that I didn't even remember. There were new people in my life who I was close to, who I didn't even know, they were strangers. I was now married when I thought I was single. My brother was not the 12-year-old little boy I remembered, he was a 22-year-old man. There were people in my life who are now in Heaven, I didn't remember their passing. There are so many things I still to this day struggle with and don't remember. I struggle with my memory. I have nightmares and flash backs. I suffer with insomnia. I constantly feel on-edge, ashamed, scared. I have a fear of being touched, a fear of blue flashing lights, unexpected loud noises, machines beeping, needles and hospitals. I'm unable to watch certain TV shows. Life is a struggle, a bad horrible day-to-day rollercoaster. But with online therapy I have realised a lot. I now know that I am a strong brave warrior. My feelings matter. My needs matter. My pain matters. My voice matters. My health matters. My healing matters. My happiness matters. I matter. ♡ 💖💕

We use the scrap materials from our Weighted Blankets etc to make our scrunchies, key fobs, book marks and much more. A little peek into just how much work goes into each blanket we make. We start by ALWAYS washing and drying our material before using it. This helps to get rid of chemicals, helps the colours if they are going to run, and pre-shrinks the material as well so it doesn't get all wonky the first time you wash it. Here you see a bit of step by step what it takes to put a blanket together. Our new 100% Biodegradable mailers are in!! We've always strived to be as eco friendly as possible with our business. We've been researching trying to find the perfect mailing packaging that didn't include alot of paper or plastic. While paper can be good , excessive use of it is not. This is why these waterproof, tear proof paperless mailers were to perfect to not try. We also had to reorder more business cards and combined our business card and thank you card into one and choose a Business card that is made from 100% post-consumer recycled paper!! It's true, my Grandma taught myself and cousins all how to sew at a very young age. I'll forever be grateful she did, it's the one thing that helps me still feel connected to her. It seems like the question of the week is "How can I get back into exercise without doing too much?". I have worked with several clients with a history of over/compulsive and/or obligatory exercise. When exercise has been intertwined with the ED it can be difficult to separate"seem" difficult to separate. This may be more difficult if there have been periods of time when exercise was not allowed. ⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ I like focusing on the word movement rather than exercise. This allows us to think of the many ways our bodies function and the things we can do. I play tennis, I play soccer, I love practicing yoga-- I do these things because my body enables me too. I love doing these things and am grateful that God allows my body to do them. ⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ My favorite thing to use in the beginning is yoga-- so much so that I got certified ⁠⠀ 200 RY-HR plus an additional trauma sensitive certification. ⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ Practicing yoga enables clients to become more attundede with their bodies during recovery and is a powerful tool to use during trauma recovery. ⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ I also recommend a skilled trainer to my clients. A knowledgeable trainer can guide clients in building back a healthy routine or beginning one for the first time. PM me if you would like information on this.
