As one year has come to an end and another begun, I like to stop and take a moment to look within, and ask myself which way I’m headed. Not so much in order to find an answer, but rather to make sure I’m aligned to my values, that I’m at peace, have contact with my inner child and not least that I’m having fun! Yep, you’re right! 😍 It's that time of year again…1st December… which means it’s not long now till the big day! 🎄 And whilst I know as mums we’ve all got to do lists as long as goodness-knows-what (and why do they always just keep growing?!), what’s not to love about a Christmas countdown?! 🤶 This year, I’ve decided I’m not going to worry about things like lists or how I should do the turkey…(Nigella or Jamie…anyone?!) But I’m going to release my inner child and revel in the excitement and fun of it all! Plus it’s so freezing …. anyone know what the odds are for a white Christmas? ❄️ Wouldn’t it be so magical if it was!?! Yesterday was drumming day 🥁 Such a great drumming session.. I didn't think I was going to be able to make it, but managed to get there by the skin of my teeth.. and was so glad I got there 🎊 Drumming is such an amazing way of letting go.. of feeling free and it can be quite hypnotic 🪘 You can feel the energy vibe rise as the drums beat, the bells and tambourine ring, and using other percussion instruments to just make rhythmic noise 🪘 Starting with a body scan-release meditation and intention setting, I danced and played .. and we finished with a short gong bath 😌 I believe the next one is on 11th November (TBC) with the fab @suzkuhnel at Z H Pilates Studio, Ember zlane, KT10 8EG.
