Walked down to the river today, with my avocado special sandwich. It was a tad grey, and chilly sitting on the bench, so I didn't hang around, but wandered into town to get my hair cut. Popped into the rainforest shop, and did a twirl to show off the haircut, no I'm not mad, Debbie would be disappointed if I stopped doing it after twenty odd years. Unfortunately she was on a crystal buying trip today, so her assistant got to see it instead. On the way home I nipped into @_oh_design_foundation, had a quick hello with Mon, and a long and interesting chat about 3D printing with a lovely man who trades as @crooked_crow_co Then bought some gorgeous flowers from the ladies in @wildfloraldesign Snapdragons, bell flowers, wax flower, and scented stocks, in pinks and yellows. Friday afternoon I put on my armour and sallied forth. Got a sarnie from the sandwich shop and wandered over to Edgar's field, picking some lavender on the way. Someone was sitting on our bench, so I sat on the other one. I tucked the lavender behind my brooch to keep it safe, while I ate my sandwich, and decided I'd take some photos. The sky was quite dramatic, and just as I finished eating it started to rain, so I packed up, put up my umbrella and headed over Handbridge to Lower Bridge Street and Modern Art Chester, picking another spring of lavender for Juliet on the way. I popped in to see 'Off the Wall', their Summer Exhibition, and bought two wooden hooks for the garden room. They'll look so much nicer than the nails we've always hung the summer hats on! Bought a bunch of flowers from the girls at Wild and had a cup of tea and a chat with Lois at Oh! before heading home.
