When I heard that @press_stl had a pasta pop-up, I had to show up! Shout out to my friends @ya_boy_bert and @rena_beeans for joining me to try a bunch of different foods. Before I talk about the star of the show, I need to say the Squid Ink Spaghetti, Paprika Gargenelli, and Fermented Potato Mezzaluna were all incredible. The mushrooms in the gargenelli, the crab of the squid ink spaghetti, and the sauce to the mezzaluna were all incredible! However the star of the show had to be the pepperoni stuffed pizza and Big Mac stuffed pizza! We finished the pepperoni pizza, and I just said “wow.” I have had few food experiences where I just say wow, and this was one. Check out this delicious, yet simple meatball taquito recipe 😋 Ingredients: 12 frozen fully cooked Italian turkey meatballs, thawed 2 cups shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese 1 cup whole-milk ricotta cheese 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning 12 flour tortillas (8 inches) Cooking spray Warm marinara sauce Directions: Preheat oven to 425°. Place meatballs in a food processor; pulse until finely chopped. Transfer to a large bowl; stir in cheeses and Italian seasoning. Spread about 1/4 cup meatball mixture down center of each tortilla. Roll up tightly. Place in a greased 15x10x1-in. baking pan, seam side down; spritz with cooking spray. Bake until golden brown, 16-20 minutes. Serve with marinara sauce. The menu is full of different dishes with intriguing combinations. Brussels Sprout was perfectly cooked with pancetta, mint salsa verde, and most importantly, hot honey. I did not know what to expect with Tomato & Pancetta Pizza but the combination of tomato jam and pancetta blew my mind. The only thing I’d order differently next time is to get rosemary on the side—just personal preference. Also loved the Linguine with pecorino fonduta and salmon. If you’re not sold yet, back patio space is amazing—I definitely plan on going back before patio season ends. - Brussels Sprout - Tomato & Pancetta Pizza - Linguine with Salmon Closed on Sundays
