🎶 ✨A passionate musician, Nic Croucher has played on stages from The Grey Eagle in Black Mountain to a sandbar that only exists at low tide near Wrightsville Beach. Nic started writing songs in high school and recorded his first album in 1999 in Bangkok, Thailand. He is no stranger to the stage playing roles in theater as well as solo acoustic and ensembles in local pubs, coffee shops, and music dives far and near. Nic has had noteworthy recognition on the theatrical stage as well as live television and radio performances. As a member of the Bangkok Community Theater, he starred as “Jesus” in a theatrical production of Godspell, invited to perform live on Thai television, and interviewed on regional radio stations. His current band, Loopbak, has been recording and releasing music on all streaming platforms since 2020, including the popular singles “Your Smile” and “The Reasons Why”. It is not uncommon for Nic to be accompanied by any number musicians he’s played with throughout the years, in formal bands or otherwise and he takes you to a soulful place with an uncanny approach and style. ¦ Πάσχα 2024 * Φρέσκα αυγά από τη φάρμα μας για να τα βάψετε κόκκινα όπως θέλει το έθιμο. 👇 Ακολουθήστε την συνταγή μας για τα πιο πετυχημένα κόκκινα πασχαλινά αυγά: ●Βάζουμε τα αβγά σε ένα μπολ και γεμίζουμε με νερό. That’s a happy Smithie! Elsie, pictured, is the eldest female Smithfield of our canine clan here at Lakey Farm. She’s most content when she’s just been running across the farm, behind or in front of (but mostly in front of) farmer John’s ute as he makes the rounds, checking on our animals in the paddocks. With furry legs covered in mud, you’ll find this joyful girl covering great distances as she traverses the varied terrains of our Sunbury and Ingliston sites. Our Smithies play a number of important roles at our farms. Firstly, they’re incredible companions with their loving and loyal natures. They provide us with the best kind of company as we perform our daily duties here on the farm. When it comes to farm work, our Smithies help us to move our animals from one paddock to the next, ensuring that no one is left behind. If an animal is injured or in trouble, we can count on our pack of Smithies and our LGDs to let us know. Warning long post- I have gotten to a point where my immune system has been so battered by what certain "programs" term okay to put in our foods. Now, I'm not perfect at this, I'm learning. But case in point - last Friday Eve I ate a handful of Cheetos. I have been working on clean eating mind you and cooking and baking from scratch (I share a lot of what I bake or cook on my page Upon River's Edge) and I share to help myself and others. This learning is ongoing. Taking multiple college courses on. Nutrition, health actually. Anyway, it was about an hour after eating the Cheetos that I noticed my lower back hurting, by the next morning I was in full blown pain all over! It felt like shards of glass were flowing through my body! The pain was some of the worst pain I've ever experienced. I kept pushing water down, rested, (didn't get to attend worship), felt extremely cold. By Sunday Eve the pain level had gone down to about 8 out of 10 because I began taking curcumin (I avoid ibuprofen and Tylenol) as curcumin is anti-inflammatory and ibuprofen and Tylenol are well ... Drugs) Today is Monday, pain level down to a 5, but I'm having issues bending my fingers and using my hands. I say all of this to say this, OUR HEALTH more often than not is in our own hands! Not always, but a lot of it is and it's due to being poisoned slowly by the "industry." So here's breakfast this morning. I made my own blackberry muffins from scratch and the ingredients are from local farmers here where I live. Thank the Lord for #localfarmers Please try and take back control of your own health.
