I’ve stayed at 16 Las Vegas hotels and am ranking them from worst to best: Number 16: Stratosphere (Strat) The Strat, built in 1996, is home to the tallest structure in Las Vegas standing at 1,149 ft. That’s about the only cool thing I can say about this property. It’s the last hotel on the North end of the strip, so you wouldn’t want to walk around here away from the strip, especially at night. That area between the Strat and downtown Fremont St. is called “Naked City”, known for being full of gritty warehouses, roach infested slums, abandoned commercial and residential buildings, and often a hot spot for drugs and prostitution. Aside from the beautiful scenery outside, the run of the house room was worse than any rundown motel I’ve seen in movies. Peeling wallpaper, mildew on the shower curtain, rusting fixtures, nasty carpet with stains everywhere..I remember feeling disgusted and itchy sleeping there. Damit wir nicht mit leeren Koffern 🧳 nach Hause fahren, ging es heute erst einmal in die Premium Outlets, um dort ausgiebig zu shoppen! 🛍️🛒 Ob Nike, Timberland, Levis, Converse, Ralph Lauren, etc…. Die Liste bekannter Marken ließe sich jetzt endlos weiterführen. Auf alles gibt es hohe Rabatte und oft „Buy 2 get one 50% off“ - Wer da nicht zuschlägt ist selber schuld! 😎 Nach einen kurzen Mittagssnack, haben wir unsere vielen Tüten erst einmal ins Hotel gebracht und sind dann zum aktuell größten Riesenrad der Welt gefahren - dem „High Roller“. 🎡 Man hat dort eine klasse Aussicht über den Las Vegas Strip und die neue Las Vegas Sphere. 🤩 Da Riesenrad fahren ja bekanntlich hungrig macht, kam uns „In-N-Out Burger“ beim Bummel durch die LINQ Passage gerade richtig. Die Burger dort sich wirklich sehr lecker! 🍔😋 Langsam ging dann die Sonne unter und wir fuhren rauf auf den Stratosphere Tower.🗼Was soll ich sagen - die Aussicht dort oben, über das Lichtermeer von Las Vegas, ist einfach phänomenal! 😍 Einem meiner Gäste waren die 280 Meter Höhe nicht hoch genug und so hat er sich mutig mit dem „Big Shot“ noch einmal 40 Meter höher, an die Spitze des Towers, katapultieren lassen. Hut ab! 🎩😳 Mit so viel Adrenalin im Blut konnte unser nächster Samstag Abend Stop eigentlich nur Fremont Street heißen. Was dort los ist, kann man sich nicht vorstellen… Man muss es einfach gesehen haben. Alles ist eine riesengroße Party mit 4 Live-Bühnen, Bars, Straßenkünstlern und vielen verrückten Leuten… 🤪🇺🇸🎉👯♀️ Dann stand die „Fremont Street Experience“ auf dem Programm. Die Überdachung der Partymeile besteht aus 49 Millionen LEDs, auf denen jede Stunde eine Lichtshow mit 600.000 Watt Lautsprechern stattfindet. @atomicgolfvegas at the @stratvegas has officially set their opening date: Friday, March 22nd. The 100,000 square foot golf paradise will span four floors with 103 golfing bays, including two “cannon bays”, and a “Putting District” complete with projection mapping technology and stat-tracking. But it won’t be all about the golf. It will also have six full service bars and a food menu like nothing you’ve seen at a golf venue.
