𝚂𝚝𝚒𝚌𝚑𝚎𝚜 Time has a perfid quality to it in hospitals. Sitting in the waiting room in my unelegant pistachio robe , politely starting at the woolen long socks of my facing neighbors shoes. There I was hoping not to re-act Jack Nickolson's scene in Some things got to give! Men and women tucking worrily at their slippery robes in anticipation of their minor surgery. The health system works in Québec, but it took me five months for my appointment. Yet, it works...at least it exists ! (Hint..hint..)The unfallible smell of disinfectant stinch of solitude took me to that place I was dreading, reaching to my phone...I remembered...I couldn't...it's difficult and different and adds to the unspoken cut. There is nothing to be proud of taking people for granted. Especially if they genuinly cared freely. There is nothing more disgusting and disturbing that having a constant need for validation. Putting people in competition. It's a sick sick distorted world. How can't you run at the foot of the most luminous light that was left for us. Kneeling in the hospital's chapel I prayed for everyone that was cruel to me, intentionally. I prayed for release and acceptance. Taking things and people as they are. Making my peace. Again. We're momentarily here. As I was lost in my thoughts, a man in a purple robe, grey woolen socks and greige addidas asked me if I could help him ." Je suis Guillaume. Je vous fait confiance ". What!? How are my deep wrinkled teary eyes barely showing between my mask and hair net makes him trust me in an instant. Why me?! I helped him...it costs nothing to be humanly kind ...at times...for oppurtunits lurks.. why me I wouldn't know...I went into a deep introspection where I found such a serene stoic strong depth, connected to my Faith until the nurse called up my name.
