💡 CLASS SPOTLIGHT 💡 Sensory Song & Rhyme Time is launching this June in our new Liphook location! We absolutely LOVE this class. Suitable for babies from roughly 5/6 months till cruising (it’s good if they can sit independent but not necessary). - Confident walkers are better suited to our Tiddlers & Toddlers Class. Our Sensory Song & Rhyme Time class is a jam-packed fun, lively 45 minute class, which incorporates lots of props, puppets, rhymes, stories and movement. We have a different theme to the classes and each week includes all the favourite elements from our other sensory classes including ‘what’s in the box’, inhibitory control, bubbles, sensory fabrics and twinkly lights. We also still have time during the class to chat to the other parents over a tasty nibble, whilst your little one has the opportunity to independently explore their surroundings. We really start to see little ones starting to become autonomous in this class; beginning to learn actions to routines, interacting with other babies, excitement when they see the box during our famous ‘what’s in the box’ segment and the beginnings of independent learning & building their confidence to explore and join in at their own pace. In this episode, myself and the lovely Emma @calmmama_hypnobirthing are joined by Cafe Milk. Cafe Milk are a long-established breastfeeding support group, which have been running in Caterham, Horley and Redhill since 2007/8 (when was originally called Baby Cafe) Back in 2018/19, funding was lost when the children's centres closed. So a group of local mothers associated with the cafés decided to form a Community Interest Company to keep them running and the name was changed to Café Milk. In 2022, Cafe Milk applied to convert to a charity and this application was approved in 2023. They run three weekly drop-in cafés in Caterham, Horley and Redhill, running during school term times. Each session is two hours long and is supported by a qualified breastfeeding counsellor, a member of the health visiting team and trained peer supporters. During this episode, both Aimee and Romy discuss how much the charity has helped local families and the valuable support it provides to parents and families every week. 🐛We LOVE Cooper 🥰One of my favourite parts of our classes is bringing Mini Cooper round to say "hello" and "good morning" to all the lovely babies! 💜Meeting Mini Cooper encourages visual eye tracking and as the babies get older I see their confidence build as they start to reach out for Cooper to stroke, cuddle and kiss him he is VERY well loved! 🥰 🤗The babies love seeing him - arms and legs start moving as they anticipate his arrival and those early crawlers are usually straight over for their Cooper fix! 💚We love Cooper so much, he even has his own song! 🎶Cooper the caterpillar a multicoloured caterpillar 🎶

💡 CLASS SPOTLIGHT 💡 Sensory Song & Rhyme Time This class takes all the elements of Song & Sensory from our other baby classes but is more focused on building confidence in your little one with more free flowing play and less structured movement and stretching. All with familiar songs and actions for your baby to learn and join in with! Suitable for babies from roughly 6 months till cruising. (Confident walkers are better suited to our Tiddlers & Toddlers Class) Our Sensory Song & Rhyme Time class is a jam-packed fun, lively 45 minute class, which incorporates lots of props, puppets, rhymes, stories and movement. We have a different theme to the classes and each week includes all the favourite elements from our other sensory classes including ‘what’s in the box’, inhibitory control, bubbles, sensory fabrics and twinkly lights. We also still have time during the class to chat to the other parents whilst your little one has the opportunity to independently explore their surroundings. We really start to see in this class baby’s beginning to learn actions to routines, interacting with other babies, excitement when they see the box during our famous ‘what’s in the box’ segment and just general confidence to explore and join in at their own pace. You can attend this course until your baby is confidently walking and the familiarity, repetition of certain elements as well as the safe space we create really makes for a great environment for your baby to learn and develop! I'm married to my husband, Grant and we have a daughter Rosa who turns 2 this month! A very fun messy play session at the launch of @littlelegswithemma in Staines. It’s all taste safe (luckily as he likes to eat as much paint as poss 😂) and allergens are clearly labelled. We made reindeer food, decorated baubles and there was even a visit from Santa. The water play was very popular and all the kids loved the ball run! Emma’s first term of classes are on Thursdays in January in Staines, bookings are open - pay as you go or book the whole term.
